Best part of Saturday is watching a new upload
Thank You!
I agree!
I was going to say the same thing!
I agree ?
TOTALLY agree, too...🌞🤠
I don't live far from Johnny's birthplace of Greens Fork, Indiana. The town used to celebrate "Johnny Ringo Days" but I don't think they do it anymore. Thanks Santee for highlighting a notorious Hoosier!
Wow! That makes a couple of us from Indiana.
@@ArizonaGhostriders that's because only the cool "Old Westians" are from Indiana!😉🤠
@@hacksaw434 LOL!
@@ArizonaGhostriders I once had a roommate from, as she pronounced it: Indianer. And who nicknames their state after a piece of kitchen furniture? ;)
It was great to get some accurate history on Johnny Ringo finally.
Isn't it crazy how little we really know about such a famous, or infamous, person?
It seems the less you know, the more legend comes about.
@Arizona Ghostriders Will you be checking out the Red Dead event in Tombstone? I'd be going, but I'll be out of the state at the time, ugh! I still need make a point of seeing more of Tucson as well!
What a horrible way for his dad to die. Becoming the man of the family after dealing with that had to have changed young Johnny
Imagine that had a lot to do with his life.
@@ArizonaGhostriders. He was six years old. He may have actually seen it happen. That would mess it up!
@@hardheadjarhead Oh yeah. Sigmund Freud was in Austria...so that was out.
Great to learn about another iconic old west character.
Give my condolences to Arizona Red. It's always hard receiving bad news like that.
I'll pass it along. Thanks.
Makes my day to see that you uploaded. I am in my teens and discovered this channel because of Red Dead Redemption 2 and my fascination with the frontier period has never stopped growing. Keep up the good work Santee!
Thank You!
Same lol
The facts are always more interesting than the movies especially in today's Hollywood! Imagine, a movie with historical accuracy. Now that would certainly be something!
It would be.
Another excellent episode, and it was great seeing Dirty Dan being serious for once... that seems to be pretty rare!
👍👍
5:56 Why, Johhny Ringo. You look like somebody just...walked over your grave.
Yup
Good morning Arizona Ghost Riders. I still would like to see an episode of your guns. I love antique guns and seeing the history of them. Thank you man
You're welcome!
I love Michael Biehn's portrayal of of Ringo in Tombstone as to how historically accurate it was is anyone's guess but that could be said for every character in the movie because it was just that a movie but it's one of my favorites.
He did a great job
"Doc, what motivates a man like Ringo?"
"Revenge...."
"Revenge for what?"
".....Being born."
Amazing writing, gives me chills everytime 👏
Ringo's real story is actually quite a lot more fascinating than his movie life. Thanks for sharing. This was definitely all new info for me.
You're welcome
Somebody ought to break it to Red that George Armstrong Custer is no longer with us as well.
Wait...what??? Last I heard he was in S. Dakota....
On a side note, I love reading the newspaper articles and the style of writing the reporters used back then.
me too
Great episode Santee.
It almost had everything..... Ya had Dan, Red, Iron Door, but no Pew pew 🤠
Would love to visit sometime
Thank You!
🥃
Bravo for Dirty Dan; good to see him get some screen time!.......Probably no one would have heard of many of these characters if they hadn't moved out west......"Indiana wants me. Lord I can't go back there".
HAHA!
Santee, This is awesome. Thank you very much. You and your family have a beautiful and blessed weekend.
You're welcome
No pew pew?? Awww man. Another outstanding video Santee thank for sharing this information. For the record I don’t like avocado either.
HAAH!
Another good one, thanks. Love the outtake, lol.
Thank You!
I liked his character in Tombstone.
I'm surprised the lizard Rango and the rattlesnake with a Gatling gun for a rattler didn't appear here! 😆👍
Rango is at the beginning!
Rango was funny. If only he had gone up against a lungfish…
Great short documentary on an interesting character of the old west. Thanks for putting it together.
Be safe out there, and take it easy man.
Thank You!
Santee, you do seem to be surrounded by a large group of eccentric friends. Eccentric, that's polite for crazy, but we kinda like em.
HAHA!
Why Jonny Ringo , you look like Santee just walked over your grave!!!
HAAH!
Niiice
Hey Santee 🖐🖐🖐
Avocado toast😋😋😋 delicious
I agree!
You've got to admit, Johnny Ringo is the perfect name for an old West hardcase.
Yep
it always amazes me that we have photos of most of these people.
Photos back then were fairly common things one could do. It wasn't prohibitively expensive and it was a cool thing.
Just had the privilege of stumbling across your channel while doing research on a remington rolling block. I'll be binging these videos for weeks to come!
Oh thanks very much. Welcome!
2:24 Died near Tombstone sounds like it was meant to happen
That was their stomping grounds.
A tragic tale for sure, Santee.
Yes
Another great episode for a Saturday morning
Thank You!
Another good video about another interesting character of the old west
Thank You! Much appreciated.
Dying declaration's hold up in court. Great video my friend.
I'd say
What's your again...Ringo ! Great Bio ! Thanks for sharing!
You're welcome.
Well produced and funny vid.
V. Informative.
Just discovered your channel.
Big Up from Fife, Scotland !
Thank you so much. I also have a video on some folks from Aberdeen keeping the Old West alive!
Wait, I thought Jimmy Hoffa killed Johnny Ringo? Now I'm all confused! My whole days is ruined now! Thanks a lot Santee! 🤬 😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
HAHA!
Very intresting and informative again 👍
Entertaining to :-)
Greets from the Netherlands, T.
Thank You!
Quite the enigma, that Ringo Kid.
Yes
Thanks again Santee & Co. Just to let you know , I'm currently camouflage painting a single shot Brazilian made 22LR rifle and a Savage 110 bolt action rifle chambered in 7mm Remington Magnum . I've been teaching a friend how to reload ammunition . Yesterday he created thirty rounds of 5.56 NATO loads , enough for one AR magazine . Reloading pistol ammunition is the next lesson .
WOW!! Have fun.
Good morning Santee,
As usual for a Saturday morning… a good history lesson… well done! Thanks!
Thank You!
crazy how he then went on to become the drummer for the Beatles
LOL!
A great introduction I laughed so much I had to back up and watch the start again.
Good!
thank you for sharing your skills....
You're welcome
Wow, Santee, Johnny Ringo! Without going into too much detail, Johnny wasn't a bad man. He just hanged around bad people as an optive for Law, and he was found out and lured into a trap, and because he was excellent with the pistol, he was shot by a member of gang he was with. His father drank a lot and slipped off the wagon shot himself. When the video started, I wondered if the same conclusion was found, in my opinion, he was a hero. What a surprise to see this today! Thank you Santee.
Glad you enjoyed it.
I love the videos...
Thank You!
Not pertinent to Ringo but a friend of mine from Arizona sent me red dirt from there. I may not be able to travel but a piece of Arizona came to me and I love it
Awesome!
I love you Santee, you are my favorite uncle I never had ❤
Thank You!
Absolutely amazing content as always Santee!!!
Thank You!
Dang it, now I want some avocado toast !!!! Ha ha ha
HA!
Paused and read the obituary about Ringo's dad and . . . DAMN!!! O.O !!!
Right?
Absolutely love the style you had for this! Loved the editing and how it was all done keep up the amazing work
Thank You!
Another great video guys. Been staying with my Dad who was recently put on hospice care and your videos have gotten me through a lot of sleepless nights. It probably doesn't occur to anyone making these that they help someone get through a tuff time but they definitely help me. Thank you again and keep up the good work
Sorry to hear about your Dad.🙁 Glad the videos are helping somewhat.
I say I am now convinced that it was Arizona Red that done the deed.
He looked a mite guilty!
Thanks!
You're welcome.
Reading the coroner report you had on the screen, his pistol ammunition belt was upside-down , a shirt and hose on his feet instead of boots tells me he surprised while resting and had to run away in a big hurry.
Or he was drunk off his gourd and couldn't put it on right.
Ha ha ha 😂
Always look forward to seeing your videos. I learned so much and just a short. Of time. Looking forward to next Saturday already. 🤠🤠
Thank You!
Always great stuff. :)
Appreciated.
People lately have been saying that tombstone is historically correct yet it portrays the death of Bill brocious fictiously and Jonny Ringo and completely ignores the fact the ears weren't in Arizona at the time of ringos death it's one hell of a good western themed action movie but with all movies it's more fiction than anything
Thanks for posting a true account of rings death
You are welcome
You're right about Ringos death but pretty certain they got the main bullet points of Bills death right.
As always, such fun to watch and learn. Excellent again. You guys are so funny.
Thank You!
That was awesome!!
Btw, I was at the Silver Dollar and the Bird Cage two weeks ago. Had to try the new BBQ place one street over.
How was it?
@@ArizonaGhostriders Not bad, a bit pricey but thats to be expected. The daily specials are the way to go.
Hahahaha that intro was very good!
Thank You!
I love all the interesting facts I learn from your videos thank you Santee
You're welcome...uh...Johnny!
Excellent episode Santee. Great information and research from all. Y'all have a great weekend! Cheers!
Thank You!
Santee, thank you so much for sharing that interesting video. Johnny Ringo is a very interesting character from the old west and I appreciate you showing his grave and giving more facts on him. As always show very good episodes for Old West thank you so much.
As long as you learned something.
@@ArizonaGhostriders Always do.
"Why, Johnny Ringo, you look like someone just walked all over your grave."
Someone did. LOL!

You're welcome.
Poor Red is all tore up! Very interesting video Santee!
Thank You!
Very awesome!

Out of all the RUclips channels and creators, Arizona Ghostriders has the absolute best intro graphics of them all. Plus I enjoy the content. Thanks Santee!
,
Awww, thanks.
Thanks!!
You're welcome.
Great video 😊 when you talk about Doc Holliday I'm usually screaming at my tablet, like you can hear me😅 But with Ringo I agree with everything. Thank you for sharing. Hope the new job went well.
Yes, the job is going well. Thanks!
I find historical references from newspapers or other written accounts from the period. Not sure what about Doc had you screaming at your tablet.
@@ArizonaGhostriders i thought you had a great doc video
Thank you, Pony!
@@ArizonaGhostriders gotcha going 😁🤣
@@lillybell6024 Where am I going? LOL!
Good to know something other than the Hollywood version o these historic figures
Thank You!
How could anyone not like Avocado Toast? If Johnny had stayed in California, that Tombstone movie would not have been as good.
Right!
Johnny Ringo has been my hero since I was a kid
That's great!
As a famous person says “That’s just stupid” lol l
Loving the videos Santee
Glad you enjoyed the episode.
Wow. What an interesting history. Thank you, sir. ESP AZRed😂😂😂😂😂
👍👍
It is always good to see and hear the real stories of Johnny Ringo. I found out years ago from my Grandmother, That Johnny Ringo is a distant Cousin of ours. One of the many things that was not known about Johnny Ringo in what was told about him.
Is Johnny Ringo was a very nice man when he was not drinking. From what my Grandmother said was one of her cousins who knew Johnny said many wonderful things about how he had a heart of gold for others and his family as well. But it is always intriguing to find out I'm actually related to someone Portrayed in the Movies Tombstone and The Gunfighter.
There's a lot we don't know.
OMG i just live yoyr videos they are my favourite part of my weekend
Thank You!
As always another great video. Enjoyed the different ideas on what happens
Thank You!
Always do some really fun and informative videos Santee. Super cool. 👍👍👍
Thank You!
Thumbs up for Arizona Red
Yay!
I loved this!!! Thank you Santee!!
You're welcome
Well now we need a biography of Buckskin Frank Leslie. Man led a wild life, perhaps even more fascinating than Ringo’s
More fascinating by far. He was probably nuttier than a bag of trail mix. I'll do one.
Thank you so much Santee. Excellent history lesson. I love the movie Tombstone. :)
You're welcome.
Awesome. 👍
👍👍
Another excellent vide
Thank You!
Very interesting folks. Keep them coming 🤠 👍
Thank You!
Dan is actually very logical there, he deserves credit for considering a lot information that most would overlook- a good amateur forensic scientist 😎
i thought that it was him in the famous meme not Curly Bill Brocius…i have to rewatch the movie now, i haven’t seen it in 28 years
Watch it!
Great video hope all is well pard .
Thanks, you too!
Wow this is good. I am a huge fan of the wild West and loved Tombstone amongst other films. I am also crazy about the life of the pioneer Laura Ingalls Wilder. She was such a strong, courageous woman. Best wishes from me a Londoner! 😎
Thank You!
I thought a dingo was a Australian wild dog Santee! Hehehe🤠
LOL!
THANKS BUD
You're welcome.
Rango was the best gunslinger to ever live.
OK!
Great story! 🤠
🤠
"Look, Dahlin', Johnny Ringo. The deadliest pistoleer since Wild Bill, they say. What d'ya think, Dahlin', should I hate 'im?"
Entertaining channel. 👍
LOL! Thanks.
I know Doc Holiday and Wyatt Earp had nothing to do with Johnny Ringo‘s death, but I do like the way tombstone took artistic license with that! And it’s far as I’m concerned, the best portrayal of Johnny Ringo as an actor was done by Michael Bein
It was a great performance.
Beihn did a nice job in that part
@@ponydiehl8775 I thought so, too. He created a mysterious character that was concerned (maybe a bit afraid) of Doc.
Great episode! Nice to get the backstory on Ringo.
Yay!
I was known as the "Mango Kid" in the town of Mimosa, Arizona back in the Old West. Men like Chuck Norris, Texas Ranger, would run out the back of a saloon, crying like a baby girl, when I would push through the swinging doors in the front. More than once I made Clint Eastwood cringe as I made his day.
Well...that saloon really makes a mean margarita. I'm guessing you've had a few...!
@@ArizonaGhostriders nah. I don't drink. I am allergic to the little paper umbrellas they garnish them with. I do like your channel. You have that dry humor that adds to them.
Thanks Santee, I didn't know about the rifle possibility
Yeah.
Greens Fork, Indiana? I LIVE in Indiana two hours southwest of that town and never heard of it until now! It’s not far from Richmond, which has my favorite Indian restaurant. I’m going to have to make a pilgrimage there.
Go for it! Report back!
