I used to have a daily trek (12 years of it unfortunately) to Worcester for work and have had some horrific journeys on the 144. It's a fairly reliable service as it is but First Bus really cut folks adrift here in Bromsgrove when they axed the Birmingham route and, worst of all, cut evening services to Worcester altogether. It'll be a great day when they are gone for good. I'm also reminded here what a terrible bus station Worcester is. Dark, miserable and like Siberia in the winter months.
My local route hasn't been giving me any luck either. The 44 is mostly ran by double deckers and the ones we have now are sluggish Ex First South Yorkshire Enviro 400's and they all replaced Streetdecks when they first came to Worcester I thought that the Enviro 400's will be better than the Streetdecks in terms of reliability and speed. Reliability-wise yes but Speed Wise Prooved me wrong.
