Thank you for the video. It clearly shows how 'dear' Indian railways is. Especially for those who are abroad and whose childhood was connected with trains like summer holidays, marriages, and visiting cousins. The night journeys make it extra special.
When i was 6 - 7 years old 2 times a year i go to my nani house ( rajasthan ) from mumbai by train the route from ahmedabad to delhi was not electrified that days and our train always get an alco diesel loco from ahmedabad you have also traveled on that route hope you have remember how that route was in 2016 - 17 ( Single Diesel Line ) Those alco chugging + alco horns + icf tracksound in night , cant express that experience in words Thanks for sharing this wonderful Journey behind this ALCOS ❤
I remember that when I was 6 years old I used to travel from Bombay VT to Manmad and Khandwa by steam engine from Igatpuri onwards. I miss the smoke, smell and chugging and whistling of steam engines. I used to see the steam engine at turns and some micro sized coal particles used to enter my eyes. But I used to enjoy the scenery.

Nice video, brought back memories of my Ashram express journey to Delhi recently. The CBC coupler view was good. It shows how the coupler plays an important role in reducing the lateral vibration and displacement of the coach while at speed.
Wow that's was a very super duper amazing and coverage Mysore Jaipur Superfast Express journey because of Guntukal WDM3A TWINS ALCO sound and LHB track sound and this train is very fast n furiously
The best thing about trains in night is that the horns sound fantastic as they make an echo type sound especially at night so i love train journeys in night specially
Long time ago, Brindavan Express hauled by ALCO Diesel was sweet music to me traveling between Bangalore and Madras. At that time, believe me the run used to be completed in five hours with the ALCO thundering with the carriages swinging side to side so much that one had to hold on to the sides to walk around. The vendors were used to and could balance! Once in Yelahanka I happened to watch a goods train hauled by twin ALCO and there were plumes of fire above the exhaust vents! Now most ALCOs are used for shunting or local trains; yes? Thank you for the video. Your Vish

The chugging reminds me of my childhood...Now all sections are electrified. INDIAN RAILWAYS ARE GOLDEN AND PRICELESS. 💙💙💙
Excellent video. I traveled this route extensively. When entering or exciting Guntakal, there's a big curve, I remember seeing sparks/fire glow coming out of the Alco exhaust on the top, in the dark. It was a fantastic sight.

Great work, enjoyed this on my upsampling Cambridge DAC with studio monitors. The sounds are very well captured, like the sound of SEJs before and after bridges and turnouts, the rumble of the EOG. And not to mention the chugging of the twin 3Ds. BTW, what was your mic setup for this recording? Cheers.
After everything becomes normal,if possible please undertake a journey in shaktipunj express from jabalpur to howrah via katni Singrauli renukut chopan Garhwa road barkakana gomoh dhanbad asansol barddhaman howrah....very spectacular route 🙏
