First time I heard Cannonball Adderley was on Radio Luxemburg Jazzhour. I took it my old Phillips steelband recorder, which was not at all trustworthy , so we got it in H dur. So the first time I played Blue Daniel with my quintett in East Park Jazzcluub our archfeind ( who was older and allways looked down on us Teenagers) wanted to sit in. That was the first and last time he Satz in with us and he never laught again.
