  • The film follows the life of one of three bank robbers that is torn between going straight or follow a destructive path that would eventually lead to prison or worse. The film was shot someplace in Southern California. The logo on a truck is SoCal. There is a street clearly marked as Clarkdale Ave but that is all I could really identify besides the ReXall Drug next to the Bank of Norwalk.

The bank is Bank of Norwalk 12143 Front Street, Norwalk ca. The intersection is Clarkdale Ave and Sproul St. Front St used to be the main street back when Norwalk was young. Its still there. The bank is still there. Those shops also but now the man entrances are on the opposite side of the building.

Wow that is very cool, I did wonder if that bank still existed. Thank you for the information. Does the bank still look the same inside? I imagine not. Thank you for your information. Have a great week

I don’t get it either. I will see sometimes that a comment has been made but it was deleted for no apparent reason. I would blame RUclipss censorship but the comments do not seem to warrant it. Weird.

Front Street looks like what I remember from when I was about five years old. A 1953 directory list the bank as vacant. I believe it was Bank of America after it was Bank of Norwalk, but B of A had moved a few blocks away by then. The view of the front window from inside appears to say Bank of America. The 1953 directory shows the Rexall store as Norwalk Pharmacy and the next store as Beddow Furniture. At 1:25 the silos in the distance were Coast Grain Company.

Thank you I wondered about that, I’m horrible at identifying vehicles. That Nash police car was easy. I had to look at lotta photographs to know about what year it was but that it was a Nash was unmistakable.

Yeah, back when they built real cars and The Government didn't tell us we had to wear those useless seat belts.
