@Fueledbythewild I was going to hold out for a big guy this year but a big bodied 3 point was just too perfect to pass up on Sunday...maybe next year lol.
Thanks bro!! It's a good one to go by, one doesn't truly understand until you start doing it and realize the power. I have no time for trash chuckers, especially the ones who classify themselves as outdoorsmen/woman. 👊🤙🦌🌲😎
Awesome man! We've been in the same area for 2 days looking for Elk, but we've been skunked on both bucks and Elk, hopefully we have better luck tomorrow - last day for us.
I lost my mom to breast cancer . She had JUST turned 60 . That’s far to young 😒 . She fought hard for years 🤟🏻. Regards bro , sorry fir your loss . What a great hunt and wow what a workout for you on this one . Keep up the good videos
Sorry to hear my friend. It happens way too often these days. Thank you🙏 Those big deer definitely are a workout to pack out, well worth every minute, easy pain! Thanks for watching brother👊🤙😎🦌
What a nice buck, man! Funny how things pan out, hey? I heard you just picked up that book I mentioned to Spenny- hahaha. It's a great read. Lookin forward to meeting ya!
Thanks man!! Yea it sure is, the one sweet thing about each hunt, it's all a part of the adventure leading into the big reward. Haha, it's funny when Spenny was asking me if I read books and I was like, "Only the good ones that get me excited," and he mentioned your suggestion and it was game over. Thanks for that lead, I ended up grabbing another one, same author. Looking forward to getting after it with you as well bro!🤙🦌🌲👊😎
If you don't mind me asking what is your game plan if you get an elk down alone with a bit of a hike in warm weather? Do you have a place you go to with a cooler to hang it? Deer are always doable solo and but every year they seem to get heavier as I get older...Not sure if I am up to an elk.
It's a real crap shoot super early season, honestly if the weather is extremely warm, I'll limit my distance of travel or usually won't go and wait for a cooler option. From my experience, elk hunting on super hot days is not nearly as productive anyway so it makes it a little easier to accept. I carry a 150 quart Pelican cooler with ice at base camp or in the truck just so I can get it chilled asap. That cooler holds a full elk quartered up. Most of the time I go for an elk I'll be with a second guy, not only for the packing aspect but a 2 person set up for calling and shooting sequence. I have a game butcher shop with cooling set up at my house as I do 90% of my own processing.
I'm sorry to hear about your mother. It was an awesome video. I was just out today, and just like you said about suprise random things that happen out there. Came across a mule buck that was bedding down in a slash we had already glassed. He was 3x2 for sure but couldn't quite see if there was a split at the end of his 3 tine. So I let him go hoping to find him in 2 more days for any buck 🙏
Thanks pal!!! so true right?....hopefully you get a chance at that buck, if not theirs probably a bigger one ahead for ya! keep hammering and good luck the rest of the season!!
Congratulations on a beautiful buck
Thanks man!
Nice buck.
Thanks!!!

Beautiful video. ❤ Very special dedication to your mom. I think it was suiting that you did it solo.
