I just wanted to let you know that the Dallas Doha sector is a Q suite, which is the latest business last seat qatar usually has on its long-haul flights so don’t worry since this review that he gave you is not the seat that you WILL NOT be flying on the Dallas to Doha sector. The seat he reviewed to you you is the second generation business class seat, which in my view is quite a comfortable seat compared to some of the other business class layouts on other airlines. Once again, you will be flying on the Q suite which is absolutely brilliant, and probably the best in the air
@@user-gh1nv8rs2m A big thanks for the information. We fly Business for overseas and first for domestic. We had business seats from Helsinki to Houston on Fin Air which was fantastic. It was as good as Singapore air. The Q seating I have watched on RUclips look great.
I just wanted to let you know that the review did not mention that the Kathmandu flight is a short to medium haul flight and qatar does not use the Q suite on this flight. It is the second generation business class, which is quite a comfortable seat for the number of hours on the plane. It is still an airbus A350, which is one of my favorites to fly on. If you were flying on a long-haul flight or medium to long-haul, they would then be using the Que suite. The key suite is basically on all the aircraft like the 777-300 er most of their 777-200 er and the A350 1000 & A350 900. ON THE 787-9/10 THEY HAVE A NEW BUSINESS CLASS SEAT POD WHICH IS REALLY REALLY NICE TO FLY ON IT. IT IS NOT LIKE THE Q Suite but it is nearly as good as. On any other aircraft, you will not see any fully flatbeds on the business class cabin. Another thing that the reviewer forgot to mention to you is that they have a new lounge called the garden lounge for business class flyers near the sea gates behind the Louis Vuitton shop. That is the best lounge to go to. It is more spacious more food options and is truly beautiful. It is a bit of a hike from the yellow teddy bear 10 minutes, but is worth going to this lounge compared to the regular lounge.😊
The thing that drives passengers nuts about Qatar Airways is that the carrier is known for relatively last-minute aircraft swaps. Many pay a lot of cash when a QSuite is advertised to service the flight they chose only to be told weeks or even months later the flight will use another variant which has dated seats (2-2-2, mind you). That said, I think their 787's reverse herringbone is not the worst, at least you'll be assured direct aisle access and some semblance of a flat bed.
They are well known for their A350 planes. The ones that can handle a direct flight distance between Atlanta and Manila although I think some 777 and 787 plane models can also make the direct flight possible. However, the A350 would most likely be used on a direct flight like that.
@@VirtCam no. NMIA = New Manila International Airport. Using the air miles calculator website, this would be slightly shorter in flight distance than NAIA.
@@VirtCam Qatar is known for A350 planes. I was talking about the range of the A350 being capable of long-range direct flights like the aforementioned Atlanta-Manila-NMIA direct flight distance.
This is a short tall flight for them to get into so the business class is showing is the second generation business class. The business class were medium and long-haul flights is the Q SUITE WHICH IS QATAR AWARD-WINNING BUSINESS CLASS SEAT. I THINK THE REVIEW DID NOT MENTION TO YOU THAT THE FLIGHT TO KATMANDU is designated a short to medium haul flight with they don’t usually use there, Q suite.
Thanks for the info! We are doing the Dallas to Doha in business next month. Just a short 13.5 hour flight.

I do want to see direct flights like that using NMIA.
Is that Sydney?

😂Qatar 🇶🇦 my love forever😂😂😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Their business class cabin looks cramped. Nothing special.
I,for one, quite like the coziness of the cabin, and its really private too. Of course it varies from person to person
