    This is exactly how I do mine, altho I do etch a little bit. Then after the patient has adjusted to it I can prepare one or more crowns and make the change over. Well done video, a credit to you. I have developed a line that helps patients get used to the new bite. I say to them,
    "It will take 3 days for your brain to write new software for this bite. You will hate me for 3 days, but I don't want to hear about it. Then on the fourth day you will find that you are using your new shapes quite well, and after that they will seem like they have always been there"
    Since I started telling patients this bite difficulties have dropped to zero.

    • @johnfenn
      @johnfenn 3 года назад +5

      @@relyrely1101 No it is really only a pattern. It may last 2 weeks or it may last 6 months. So you put this on, then prepare a quadrant for crowns, inlays whatever. Then use the same impression to make the temporaries. The beauty of it is that while you restore one side the other side is stabilised and secondly the patient has their new vertical dimension and can start getting used to it.

    Looks better than initial, definitely. But patient can not clean interdentally. Cervically the gums are pressed by the material - which is a temporary resin material by the way…- and given that, the gums will recede pretty quickly and badly.

      @@dulcepinili998 Not very. I used to say this is only for smiling at the girls OK? Then they would want an emergency visit because they broke it eating almonds, or corn on the cob. Which was interesting because within 2 or 3 days they are so used to the new bite that they eat such things. I also invited on restoring the posteriors first, because if you did theanteriors first they would not come back, until they had broken the crowns all out. You must have posterior teeth to protect the anteriors.

    Mi pregunta es? El px va a pagar buenas coronas? Porcelana, emax zirconia ? Porque michos malos doctores quieren dejar solo acrílico o materiales de mala calidad porque el px no lo puede pagar. Al menos en mexico coronas de buen material por 16 dientes serían como 80 mil pesos mexicanos en usa sería mucho más
