- Hill Climb Racing 2’s Map Maker is currently in its beta stage, so I wanted to share some ideas about the future that this awesome feature has. Maybe these will be added in a new update, but let’s be honest, Fingersoft don’t listen very often.

All race modes should be like events, where if you don't finish the race at least your meters are saved, regardless of the game mode, this would be cool to publish impossible maps like you said and see how far some people got on hard maps since most of them don't even finish
3:59 I think this difficulty option should be automatically measured with some option where players rate the difficulty of someone's track

My personal suggestion to Fingersoft is for us to be able to see every map instead of finding one and download it. Like make it viewable and if we want to download it we can download it whenever we want! And also to make a public rating system to see the best ones rather than seeing random ones in the public tab just like Geometry Dash!

I love GD, i love hcr2. So why not make it one? 😂
would be a cool idea for the creator to lock a vehicule, the levels and the parts so the map would be played in its intended way not just thrusting to the finish line
They should definitely make a map editor for adventure specially for speedruns
So it takes infinite Time to make 1 map

I’d like a few things related to the actual design of the maps
- Roller coaster terrain in overspill fun rig
- Pavement change for Racer Glacier (it is randomly red or white and a little annoying that you can’t control it much)
- A theme switch in City (choosing between the one in the Finger GP cup and the others)
- Automatically setting patchwork to on or off so you don’t need to add a switch to turn some of the obstacles on
For me the biggest change and a very small one is to add a single prop
The refuel station from the Public Event it would make it so you could actually make challenge maps which can be retried for hours on end because you can refuel

They should make the countryside, forest, city and mountain theme free, since these are the main themes in hcr2

my idea : it would be good if everyone could havethe same parts and vehicles on the same level like no one would have a better or worse vehicle and also if we could make a adventure map that is speedrunable and has tons of fuels would be nice

The most important change:
Make it free (no VIP or pay)
One idea I had is that instead of there being a song picked for you based on the track you picked, we can pick any type of music from the game in our tracks. You would also be able to pick adventure music for your maps too. Also if they do add custom backgrounds and maps, a custom music feature would be a good idea too. One thing I do hope is that, track builder is not vip only forever, I’m a f2p so I can’t even use the track builder so for now I just gotta wait.
i like how the general consensus is to just turn this into gd haha...anyways heres some more i reckon
- More modifiers (wheelie, multi-jump etc)
- Custom parts/vehicles (so anybody, even people with bad cars can still have fun)
- Conditional tiles (ie if you land here move something over there)
- Custom asset support (pretty decorations)
but yeah, better sort and search functionality is the main one by faaaar
They should make a „saved parts“ tab in editor, where you can save any part of any map, with holding, just like in geometry dash
Only 2 things I think would be awesome to have 1. Having a way to edit the tracks fingersoft have In the game so you can add your own spin to the map 2. Make it so the maps that you downloaded can be played offline so when you don't have internet you can still play maps you have downloaded
They should add the demonlist for the maps (including humanly impossible ones)

Another improvement is to increase the limit of how much tracks to store 😂

Talking about object limit - it should be overall higher but LOWER when talking about fuels and launchers.
The best thing to do is to make it so collected coins from the tracks are actually collected!

Sorry I watched it a bit late but I totaly agree with your opinions. The hcr2 map editor, as it is right now sucks A LOT. It needs some change. I would realy like to see adventure maps rather than races.

An idea that would be very good is that the map creator no longer needs vip this ancestor is taking too long
Idea: you can copy other players map and edit it yourself, but if you publish it people can see that it was originally made by someone else.

(not related to video sorry) My ideas for the next update is that we could access the task, challenges, chest, scraps, featured maps in track editor and play it without needing the internet. Honestly I don't understand why we need internet to do that.. That's all

When will the fingersoft id come out?
The changes are great u mentioned,but it eill never happen,due to Fingersoft's lack of listening.
Fingersoft's servers are a potato wired to an IBM Hard Drive, and they don't feel like upgrading, so we might not get anything above 1km on any created maps.
Fs' servers are just 2 potatos hooked up into an old slow mechanical hard disks

Well, we used to wished to have track editor in the game and look what happened..we have it now!
