I’m in the uk and I make my coleslaw with cabbage, carrots and onion, mix with mayonnaise then put in bread with cheese. You could add cheese to the salad mix😊

I can't say we put any kind of salad in bread over here. Most you'd get is it deconstructed layered on top of things like in a normal sandwich. Maybe egg salad, but that's mostly egg and mayo. Though potato salad is good on bread too.

In our house one of our favorite lunches is salad sandwiches, we take any veggies we like to eat raw, put it between bread and add a dressing of choice (I like honey mustard) - we also make our own bread so the healthy and delicious

In Belgium we put lettuce, grated carrots, tomato, pickles, onion and egg plus whatever sauce and base you want (tuna salad, ham, cheese, ….) all of that on a baguette :)
