If a civil servant is taxed before pay, it's double taxation when he sends the taxed money from his salary to say, his mother or child and you tax the old mother saying she got 80,000 naira monthly ( equating to 960,000 annually) Hardly enough to feed her monthly but taxable in YOUR GOVT EYES bcos it exceeds your taxable 800000 naira per annum of your new tax reform/tax law. WHY ARE YOU TAXING AN OLD WOMAN WHO DOES NOT WORK OR A CHILD IN SCHOOL STUDYING whom govt should actually be providing for? In essence you are double taxing and tripple taxing the provider because he will have to bear the brunt.This is criminal of this government and should be effaced with immediate effect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
