While I don't know any Japanese, assuming the subtitles are fairly accurate I have to say that I love the manner of the racers' commentary. I really liked Tsuchiya. "Wait, wait, wait a minute! ... Oops! Damn ... That sucked! Totally uncool! . . . As you all witnessed, the new Roadster unfortunately went off course due to the driver's lack of skill." Owning up to mistakes and, in the case of the S2000 driver, admitting to advantages. And all so playfully. They're having fun, and so did I.
17x9 with rolled fenders and Ohlin's coilover suspension. I also braced the chassis a bit. With the stock engine, the car corners flat, but with another 20hp the tail started coming around again; however, it was much more controllable.
In stock trim the MX-5 is a bit floaty when going through corners. As an owner, I wasn't impressed with how the stock suspension handled. Honestly I don't think the driver going off the track was do to lack of skill, its just a hard car to control, because it breaks out with no feedback. Once I replaced the suspension and put wider tires/wheels on the car it became a dream to drive. With my current cosworth engine mods I would love to donate my car to these guys to see how it compares.
Nice but I prefer the 89-90 model! the S2000 has lots of power and good handling but it's too heavy but at least all that power helps the s2000 move around the tracks and the RX8 mmm I prefer the late RX7 it has a sexy body.
Haha i love their manner they seem to be having so much fun

Gear ratio. Same speed at rpm & gear as 6speed.
Body kit.
Wheels.
The fact it even somewhat keeps up with the S2000.
That settles it. I'm buying some Ohlins for my NC right now.
...
Done. They're on the way. I'mma get those S2000s.
You’re gonna do even worse in the rain lol
@@aeirsone9045 They've been lovely. Dry, wet, and snow.
in my opinion... mx-5 nb for ever!!!
the NB keep it up nicely on first lap !!
Pretty precise in corners,
need more torque and power :), Turbo it :D
Im going to get a used MX5, they look super fun to drive and they're cheap
Did you ever get a Roadster?

If you buy a used MX5 it is a great investment and a great tuning platform. If they included the MX5 turbo with 170hp, the results could be different
Thank,s looking...
well the car is actually good...but def with no sec-box...
somehow it feels like the 1st gen MX5 has been left out..
too underpowered.
Where does it say the RX8 is Type S ?
Interesting. What wheel sizes you put and what suspension?
I’m assuming stock

lol yea right!
Thats Akira Iida...him not trying hard enough? hahaha
tsuchiya-san....you are not lack of skill.....are you kidding me :( you are the DK~!!!!!
look up the Best motoring vid with the M5,M3,350z,S2000, and RX8. Then you'll see what I mean:)
S2000 is top :-)))
I mean he couldn't get past the new MX5 in the first 3 laps, then again the Japanese version of the RX8 only has 190 hp
I'm not saying he sucks its more to do with the car
2800 lbs is too much weight? What.
everything over 1000-1100 kg is "too much weight"
its cool lol
The RX8 driver wasen't trying hard enough
I am disappointed about the new MX5's 4x4 look and floaty suspension. . . So un-mazda like...
after some time toyota start to sell the mr-s whit secuantial gears only... and they suck asses. well that car sucks anyways
