Steve-: why don’t you write Ricky Starks into your program?
Tony: My pencil ran out of ink ….
Wow only 2 minutes into this show and you already have me in stitches. Well done 😅
Tony needs to delegate more. He has a perfectly good Jeff Jarrett and Mike Mansury right there!!!
Anyone but Jarrett 😂
Jarrett as a backstage agent/coach is a huge asset for any company. I know he gets hate but he’s been around for so long for a reason. And he has a wealth of knowledge to share with new generations.
22:18 to be fair to Punk, there’s been a lot of wrestling veterans that have said aew wrestlers think they know everything and don’t take advice, not just him
Yeah Regal also said something of the sort
It’s true but CM Punk is the one last people people I will want advice giving his history of controversies in various promotions. And he is thin skinned.
@@jgls1987 controversial or not he’s one of the biggest draws in the last 20 years. I’d listen to him.
Choosing not to listen to Regal when he helped Mox and Danielson get to the top was just a bad move by the young talent @@CaliKidHooligun
@@jgls1987OK. And you are showing yourself to be a fool
The crumbum thing made me laugh.
Yes! Larson drinks Celsius, I love those! The prickly pear/limes are amazing, he needs to try those.
Thank you Steve and Larson for continuing to do going in raw and all the videos there awesome 😎
I dunno, Tony seems like he's incapable of learning from other's mistakes and admitting when a change is needed.
It's wild to me that AEW hasn't cracked 800k since they showed the Punk footage. It's funny how they inadvertently cemented CM Punk as their biggest draw.
I assumed they would this past Wednesday with the return of MJF but they still didn’t even without major competition. Next week is against the finals, could be a massacre.
The scary thing is that they had a huge first quarter and lost so much of it. Why was it so much bigger than usual and they couldn't maintain.
This was an excellent Steve and Larson video. They are so intellectually honest in their videos. They like what they like and they are upbeat about most wrestling topics, but can give positive critical ideas.
@@framincirethey usually get a huge lead-in with the Big Bang theory and that gives them an artificially inflated first quarter. There’s people online who do the average without the first quarter due to it being inflated due to the inaccurate first quarter numbers.
Started listening fairly recently and love the program. But yo, AEW doesn’t have too many titles? I literally just did a spit take
Nah give em more 🫣
Would love to see this "lessons to be learned from" idea applied to other companies as well. ECW, TNA, NJPW, etc. in terms of what a company can get from their histories both positive and negative.
Oh & i just gave my 👍button a Last Ride btw!
I also defend Russo and Arquette holding the title.. they both won in very flukey ways. Not like they were booked to go over clean.. side note.. Jinder Mahal was in 3MB, left and came back JACKED. They should have booked him as a threat AS SOON as he came back.. anyways, love u guys. Great episode
They Had Been Made 10 Times as Many Mistakes As WCW.
Tna 20 years anniversary
I agree with everything Larson said about TLT

Endless lessons could be learned. Will anyone learn anything? No.
For the algorithms ❤.
Sorry to say this tony khan doesnt have ability to handle such a wrestling promotion
Who would have thought a guy whose never had any experience in wrestling, apart from being a fan, wouldn't have a clue what he is doing.
According to Tony he knows more than Ted Turner. If AEW fails, I really hope they don’t, I hope it’ll end the dubious idea from the IWC that any one of them could book a successful promotion. It’s not easy and you can’t just hop over the railing with lots of money and make it work.
It really seems like many people are just waiting for the inevitable about AEW, which sucks because they’re good for wrestling, but man they’re easy to hate.
Is no one worried about RAW loosing almost a million viewers since mania?
Post mania Raw is always the highest rated of the year
@@L3ghair Okey? but loosing a million is still not good no?
@@liltaxerof course not! But it’s not as big of a deal when they have an audience the size they do.
A lot of it falls to the post-WrestleMania slump that always happens, and Dwayne having to step away
Above my pay grade, buddy boy
Less dancing characters

Don't hire Russo. Thats 1. 2) Don't let egos run the company. They already hired Double J. WCW made that mistake twice
Different when big egos go to the backstage roles look at the kliq and other big names
