What about the bottom head? I feel like all turning videos only focus on the batter head but never on the resonant head. Maybe an idea for a different video?
Thanks Buck! In my opinion, the only reason it would ever be a "problem" is if it started to change the sound in a negative way. Most likely, it would kill the resonance of the head. That actually isn't a bad, to an extent, because that is what we do with moon gel and whatever else we throw on to dampen. So, I'll keep an eye on it for if it starts to choke the drum. But for now, I'm considering it "Mother Nature's" attempt to dampen.
Yea! Tuning-top head to bottom head relationships, how to achieve different sounds etc. I've been learning so much about tuning and I love different perspectives

For Real!
Sounds good! I hope the plows aren’t a big problem. They don’t seem to be causing any problems with the sound.

Very cool. Drum sounds great, what’s the depth?
9" or 8" haha. Can't remember.
