Nilambir tourist places/ British bangalow in Nilambir/ Banglavukunnu old DFO Bungalow

British bungalow in Nilambur is a tourist attraction in Malappuram District near Nilambur. Later it used as a DFO bungalow.
This D.F.O Bungalow is situated 2km away from Chanthakunnu bus-stop in Nilambur. A visitor to Nilambur may find a few hours to spend at this Bungalow which was earlier the official residence of British forest officers. When Kerala state was formed, it came under the forest department of Nilambur. The forest officers had their residence here. The good thing that, they explored every beautiful hill and mountain and built Bungalow and kept that natural beauty for our generation.
The140-metre-long skyway was setup as part of the Eastern Corridor Tourism Project in Nilambur The sky walkway is set up in Bungalow Hills of Nilambur forest. The walkway enables tourists to enjoy the serene beauty of forest on the banks of Chaliyar river. Apart from visiting forest areas and the waterfalls the visitors of the region would have facility to directly watch the functioning of the hydel power station. A watch tower and shelter also have been arranged for the visitors
