We were so spoiled coming out of the 70's that it spilled into the 80's too. Jazz/Funk has held a solid foundation for the last 60 years (Hancock, Stanley Clarke etc.). Thank You for posting.
My Uncle Gary "Crawfish" Lewis played triangle for The People. As the group grew, they outgrew the triangle and moved on to the electric harmonica. My Uncle went on to invent Fruity Loops and Abelton. Uncle Crawfish also helped Andre 3000 buy his first flute from the pawn shop.
I was curious. He isn't on Discogs. A google search took me to someone of that name who is an expert in fishing, yes there was a result for Gary Crawfish Lewis with a wife named Olivia. If Olivia is your aunt that is the same one then. I never though heard of a band having someone that only played triangle. Although there is a hilarious bit from Saturday Night Live with Blue Oyster Cult and a rogue cowbell player, that one cracks me up.
I bought this album when I was only 13. I remember the band played in Germany as a guest for Curtis Mayfield during his world tour in 1982. Probably the best concert in my life. Jeffrey Adam Rose, on hammond piano, died few weeks ago in a motorcycle accident in Daytona, FL.
@@CCOREY5 Yeah, right you are. Poor Lee, he's now on a wheelchair after crashing with a drone. We used to live pretty close to each other, I even used to go fishing with him for a while in Zarrentin am Schaalsee, until he left Denmark with my fourth wife.

It's AI created. A complation of sound pieces pulled from who knows then rearranged to create these tracks. It's nice, though. It will probably be for sale somewhere. Look for AI music.
I remember these guys! They were discovered by legendary Stax producer Allen Jones. In the early 70's, and they toured regularly with Isaac Hayes, The BarKays, The Soul Searchers and other Stax label mates. Although they never received any national attention, their regional popularity provided them with steady work as an opening act to many highly recognized Southern Soul artists: The Allmen Brothers; Preachy Herb; Potted Giants and the Waterstains. Sadly, the 70's drug culture led to the group's demise--as the popularity of the synthetic drug Dryer Lent brought about the ruin of the band. At a annual July 4th celebration, keyboardist Moe Bitchez shot rival bandleader, Phukett Denn onstage; over a bag of fake, synthetic Dryer Lent.
Unfortunate that the drug scene cast its dark shadow over so any young talents. I just wish some of the brothers from that day would have looked deeper into the future. They would be living fruitful lives today
Oh! Duh. It is AI made by some DJ. It says so right there. Hahaha. That's crazy!!!! It's so '76 sounding. This marco DJ/producer could actually release this. Robots will one day be pimpin' AI Ho's or human clones on the street. I still can't believe they're transferring people's consciousness's into clones down in the Bahamas. 'Cloneaid' Inc. Apparently there are many companies doing it. It's Nephiliim technology no doubt. What's that horror movie that told us what they've been doing? Old white folk having their consciousness's transferred into young black bodies? Directed by the half of Key & Peel who made 'NOPE'?

Interesting...
how can we get this music
Great Musicality,.... Even if it Art Official Reality!!!!
this makes me nauseous
This doesn't sit right with me. Some fake AI taking listens from real artists that are still touring and need to make a living.
Some of the hip hop artists sampled their music
Too polished and predictable. AI cannot produce ground-breaking art, music, ideas, etc. It relies on what already is and re-shuffles it.
Well said and thank you.
Isn't that kind of what popular music is now a days
Real cool music, AI or not.
AI SUCKS
As dull as it gets IMO
