- The Haiboxing 1/18 Rampage RC truck!
This was a GREAT deal during the Amazon Prime Day. At just over $40, I figure we should give it a shot! Already had experience with the Haiboxing 16889 and enjoyed it.
This truck is noticeably smaller than the 1/16 Haiboxing truck. That means it struggles a little more in grass than it's bigger brother - but still does great!
A Slow/Normal speed switch on the controller makes this also very user-friendly for folks who are new to RC.
Once we got this RC truck into "normal" speed instead of "slow", it really woke up and turned into one fun truck!

I figure for $40, it would be fun to see how long it will last at a skate park. Although we took the 16889 there and it went through both batteries without dying...

They sure don't compare to things like our Arrmas, but they are a lot of fun for the $!

I have the Hailstrom, well it is my nephews but he leaves it here at my place. (seemed to have misplaced the controller but it is in my garage somehwere) I got it for $70 CDN during last years black friday sales.
Crazy cheap for that!
I think that is exactly where these vehicles work. Young kid that occasionally uses them.
LOL! I had my nephew ask me why everything works in reverse, there is a switch for that next to the speed switch too! LOL!
Ha! Glad I was not the only one ignoring the switches!
for how small the truck is, it runs great but you are right the 1/16 truck is much better but they are both fun trucks

I would replace it with the same one. Works rather well!

Lol, yeah it's tiny! For $50 though definitely worth it 👍 I picked up my own Prime day deal, Granite Voltage for $70
I should have picked up one of those Voltage trucks also. Such a deal for what you get!

Also it you bash Like I do and jump it very high, loctite the screws under the front a arms, closest to the tires
Those are the upgrades and mods I did and it a lot better
If you don’t do that the c hubs will strip out and the driveshafts will pop out its very annoying
