It makes a good character arc that at some point Amy finally takes a hint and as she gets older she chills out. Also Amy has been chill in the newer games and comics too.

@@skeetermagee2487 Exactly lol, if he didn't like her he wouldn't do some of the things he does including saving her all the time. He also wouldn't stutter and could easily run away yet he goes at a pace she can keep up to. He just feels awkward and shy knowing he likes Amy since he didn't expect to like someone since he's fast and doesn't want a relationship so he surprised his own self when he realised he liked Amy. To be honest though, Shadow isn't that rude to Amy, only sometimes but he's definitely improved his behaviour towards her. I mean if Shadie has respect for Amy and goes to her for therapy, then Shadow must have some respect and decency for Amy too since without Shadow there is no Shadie.
