soul khan is right, the way eurgh mixed in his freestyles with his writtens was so masterful, you could barely tell the difference between them!!
Even though I don't agree with the decision this still makes me miss the days where battles were judged.
I don't think Eurgh was right by saying "crowds maybe ain't as accepting as we thought...". They accepted him and enjoyed his performance but they just thought Twist took the battle. They boo'd the decision, not Eurgh as a rapper. Why am i typing this 4 years after? I'm done.
Eurgh got slept on dont get me wrong kid twist killed it but Eurgh went in.

so watching this battle I'm a huge Kid Twist fan, honestly I've seen all of his battles but I mean even though I'm biased I can still say that Eurgh won this. KT's third round was amazing compared to Eurgh's was but if you break it down over performance, stage presence, flips, flow, and whether they had a "K.O." line, it goes to Eurgh.

Eurgh made this a classic battle that I go to 4 years later...but Kid Twist won this battle....

Eurgh has better bars and flips but his performance style is so forced and not natural. Twist edged it.

One of the closest and my favourite battles
I am from New Zealand therefore completely unbiased based on my geographical location. This is one of the best battles I have ever seen. Both went in hard with some intelligent and original wordplay. Both had amazing rebuttles. I thought Twist had greater complexity and Eurgh had more impact. This one deserved overtime for sure.... not being able to I have to give the slight edge to Eurgh.... like SK said.... his seamless integration of rebuttles and freestyles was outstanding. EPIC battle

This was a really good battle, but their styles are quite conflicting. Both these two are gonna have insane battles at WD2. 360 vs Kid Tiwist and Eurgh vs Theasaurus..... Ridiculous!!!!!

As a massive Don't Flop fan, I think Twist took this. Eurgh constantly consistent but too many massive one-liners. Twist is just sick

@haxomps I completely agree! I just don't think anyone understood the English version of the "camp" reference; as what often happens with great lines.
see the thing i love about this event...they voted right on this one, though it would have been easy to throw it to kid twist on this, especially with him going last...but if kid twist had stepped up his last verse he really could have taken this one..but eurgh had more personals and flips to start rounds, which i personally love...eurgh had more well rounded verses and despite them sleeping on this verses for crowd reaction, he was more dominant with freestyles and writtens mixed with personals
You're only saying that because you're American. I understand where you're coming from, but while you might have trouble understanding Eurgh, I had a little bit of trouble fully understanding Kid Twist, but that doesn't mean Americans/Canadians can't rap. There are lots of British accents: Cockney, Southern English (Scizzahz, Eurgh, Cruger), West country, Yorkshire (Lunar C), Scouse (Oshea), Mancunian (Blizzard), Geordie (Suus), Welsh, Scottish, Northern Irish etc.
I give the edge to Eurgh ...twist is good but he needs to mix it up a bit. it takes more than just jokes to win battles now. Granted, I know Twist has done the meaner approach in the past but a mixture of both styles would benefit him.

@BillORele - I know what the origional point was. I was saying that hometown rappers get extra hyped everywhere. And I was more so, responding to your remark " especially in Canada" which as I said before lumps all of Canada and all competitions held here into one catagory or "spot". The judges did their jobs and I agree with their decision. However, I don't agree that over hyping happens "expecially in Canada" because Twist has gotten jerked manytimes which battling in the U.S. & Europe.

Eurgh won this but alot of Kid Twist's lines were crazy good, like the 'federal crisis, scheme, the 'revenge for the irish' scheme, ' harry's replacement and sophie' scheme, etc. This was a very good match-up. Not bodybag for Eurgh, but he won.

I'll inform everyone outside of the US (assuming that people from outside of wherever the hell you're from are still allowed to rap) that they are no longer allowed to do it because it's not traditional. I'll also inform every band that was inspired by the Beatles to stop because they're not from England.
