Hey RPG, you should talk about another game called Project Century that's made by the Yakuza developers. It's a gritty beat em up noir game set in 1915. You won't be disappointed.
I know fans wanted a Mafia game set in 1970's Las Vegas, but I'm kinda glad they didn't go down that route just yet. Honestly wish Hangar 13 have the rights to the Saints Row IP.
@@Skiivin No. In 1900s Salieri and Morello probably still friends. Probably still working as capo under Don Peppone (Correct me if im wrong about his name. Its been years since i played mafia definitive edition) Or probably Enzo will be the one who kill Don Peppone? I mean, Don Peppone's death was a mystery even in the lore. The only two person who know the actual fact is that Salieri and Morello themselves (Or probably Morello's younger brother also in, but no one knows) Im sure the devp will work something about it
This mafia trailer had no right to be damn so good here. The graphics of this game and the story premise looks really stellar here. And Its coming In summer 2025 here??? Damn, Gta 6, Inzoi and now this?? 2025 is shaping to be quite a great year here ♥️ 🐀
Love the look of Enzo and the setting has been one i have been waiting for for a very long time, i think Enzo might be youngest protagonist we gotten so far, i feel the game could have a love story built into it, my only concern is the overall movement, i love this series but the games have felt quite janky tbh, either way im very hyped for this new game
I believe the story/campaign will be so entertaining. I cannot wait to see and experience the emotional story that Hanger13 has crafted for Enzo and this family. Yeah, i heard it’ll be linear and not open world, which I’m personally glad about. I hope (if true about it not being open world) it’ll allow them to offer a more polished, stronger combat/gameplay and Ai system. I enjoyed this video of yours. Keep up the good work!
One of the developers recently stated this about the game regarding the topic if will be open world or not; "Unlike the open-world nature of Mafia III, Mafia: The Old Country is described as having a structure more aligned with Mafia I and II. While there's a world to explore, the game focuses heavily on a linear narrative, with travel options including horseback, foot, and early automobiles, reflecting the era's technology."
Once gta 6 comes out every game will be forgotten trust me there is no competion,a game with horses and old cars cant be better then gta 6 where they invested 2 billion dollar in It
Where do you get that GTA6 won’t be as good as RDR2? I’m genuinely curious. R* (minus the few missteps with GTA5) have a pedigree like no other, apart from Naughty Dog and they aren’t one to rest on their laurels and are always driven to push technological boundaries along with moving the industry forward in ways we never imagined. RDR2 is incredible. Regardless of the divide on the slow pacing of the games opening first few hours (it’s a western, like a painting that takes time to capture your painting/art/masterpiece so take it all in and appreciate it) the attention to detail is unmatched still these 6 years later. R* knows GTA6’s expectations are going to be so high. While they won’t meet everyone’s they’ll definitely exceed many. People just need to have realistic expectations. If R* deliver a game that’s on the same level as RDR2 with GTA6 they’ll have accomplished something incredible and that in itself being in the form of GTA6/fast paced etc will be ahead of the industry. If they deliver something beyond RDR2 it’ll be years ahead of the industry again. It’s unlikely R* will fail with GTA6. Could they? Yes. Will they? Not likely.
Saying Mafia could return to form with this game is ignoring a success that Mafia Remake was. But I do think as well that Mafia The Old Country will be massive.
According to an interview with developer Alex Cox, he states the following, "Unlike the open-world nature of Mafia III, Mafia: The Old Country is described as having a structure more aligned with Mafia I and II. While there's a world to explore, the game focuses heavily on a linear narrative, with travel options including horseback, foot, and early automobiles, reflecting the era's technology."
@@messii648 yes but its gonna be a red dead redemption 2,its not only the fact about the old cars or the horses its also it wont have multiplayer so whats the point of buying this game first day? it wont sell well
Bruh. This looks like trash ngl. Is the next mafia gonna be set in the 1500s? Then the next one in the Roman Empire. Then the next one after that our protagonist is gonna be Unga Bunga and the main villain will be a sabertooth tiger. Bruh who asked for this? We wanted 70s and 80s Vegas. Peak mafia.

They will still go down that route with Mafia 4.
Mafia 3 was saints row in the 60s hangar 13 doesn’t need to ruin any more franchises
Mafia the Old Country is probably not Mafia 4, the rumours say Vegas is still on the line but until then Old Country is gold for the fans
Hell no !! We wanted a story related to mafia 1. The golden age of mafia happened in 30s and 40s
@@le4-677 Can't be bad after what volition did to their IP.
I bet that Salieri and Morello will have some sort of appearance or at least a cameo

All right now we going to the 70s and it'll be a Las Vegas setting for Mafia 4
You got me hyped about a series I never played
Start with Mafia definition edition or the original then Mafia 2 original then Mafia 3 you will enjoy the series 😎
You need to try it out dude. Really good series. As CJ said start out with mafia definitive edition then 2 and 3 the definitive editions.
I’m Sicilian. My clan left there in 1911. I’m very interested to play this game and hear this story.
3:46 if only a certain company didn’t lock away the nemesis system.
Such a gem in game design gone
Hope its open world and not a linear story
honestly i do think it'll be an open world game, it gives off a vibe of a map that you'd like to explore..
I have mix feelings !! On the one hand the story line seems to be great but on the other hand I'm kinda disappointed that it's not related to mafia 1
I honestly like that it's a fresh story from the looks of it. Also who knows, maybe we'll get some Mafia 1 character cameos.

Probably will look much Worse at launch like the other mafia games
The character in the thumbnail looks like the Jazz bassist John Patitucci.
If everything goes alright. The Old Country will be the prequel we need so much
So I expect there will be some winking at the fans.

Appreciate this information you’ve shared from one of dev’s! Thanks.
This. This is good. I'm not in love with what I've been hearing about GTA 6, so I can say that this new Mafia game looks good.

IMO I Honeslty think this feels like it could also pass as a rdr 3 since it’s so close to the timeline kinda wish they went more with 50s or 70s time
I hope there's a good sicilian dub for imersion and authenticity sake

Hopefully cause the horse riding feels really damn good in rdr 2
