Hey man really good review. One question though. How hot would you say the milk is for the Lattes? I've heard some people describe it as "luke warm" I don't need it to be boiling but I hope it's hot.
Thanks Robert. You can change the temperature in the app, but can’t choose an exact temperature. There’s a slider with 3 different heat settings. I have quite large thick mugs, they do cool down quite quickly if I was to pull a cold one from the cupboard. As long as the cups have been on top of the machine and are slightly warm when being filled then you would have to wait a few minutes before drinking or you would burn your tongue. It’s nowhere near as hot as say if you go to a coffee shop and have to wait 10 minutes for the drink to cool down. I’ve made hot chocolates with the blocks of chocolate on the end of a spoon, the milk has been hot enough to melt them and create a nice drink. Hope this helps
Hi! Just bought one second hand unit, just wondering a few things, do you still use yours? And if you are how many cups have it brewed? And have you had any issues with the machine during the years? Changed any parts caused by worn out? Best regards Jonatan
You mention that the buttons can be changed so that eg the hot water button could make another drink. I just bought this machine and I've looked through the settings, the app and the manual and can't seem to figure out a way to do it. Just wondering if you could explain it to me please? Thank you!
To genius who "dont like" whej people dont instantly answer questions like they are some kind of servants at their disposal - maybe try reading manual before clowning yourself. Anyway back to question - that could be answered by manual as I said. No, you cant put there anything than regular coffee in theory. In practice it will work if you mix coffee and powder in the compartment before. It wont mix it with coffee from beans if its what you are asking. Its just easier and better to drop coco into a cup first in my opinion.
Still going strong, must have had it 4 or 5 years now. Only replacement part I have had is a milk container. I dropped it and it got cracked. Not had to do anything else with it. It’s been great to be fair.
On my Melitta CI touch which is an older version of this, it makes a Cappuccino by first adding the coffee, then the milk. I think this one is the same.
Nice review. I am going to place coffe machine inside the cabinet. It is 44 cm heigh. What is the height of the coffee machine when the water tank flap is opened?
Only problem with that, the brewing system rinses itself which goes directly into the tray, so you would still have to walk across the kitchen with a drip tray unfortunately.
I have had this machine for a couple of year’s now. It makes beautiful coffee, but cleaning the machine is another story. Trying to get the brewing unit out is a nightmare, and putting it back in is even worse. I’ve had the brewing unit replacement no to avail. Today it won’t go back in for love of money. I’m going to have to take it back to the seller and have them do it. This is the 5th time this has happened. Does anyone have an answer?
Hey MattyH it sure can. There is a button to double up any of the pre defined programmes. You then just put the cups side by side. Comes in handy too if you need a big mug of coffee 😉
Thanks for the review, very helpful. Quick question about the on/off switch on the left. Is it something you can leave switched on so the power can be controlled by a smart plug? I'd like to tell google to turn on the machine while I'm still in bed :)
Hey Weargas, unfortunately the on and off switch is more of a button. Rather than a switch which can be left on. It has to be pushed to wake the machine. But the initial heat up is under a minute. By the time I've pressed the button, got a cup and the milk container out it's normally ready to go. I think there's also an option for it to turn on at a certain time. It turns itself completely off after an hour of not being used.
It depends on what coffee mode you select. If you have multiple shots in a drink the machine will use more coffee. At a guess I would say after 8 cappuccinos you need to refill the beans. I normally fill the beans twice a week.
All depends on your preference. You can use ground coffee too which I use for flavoured coffee. I now buy the Starbucks blonde coffee beans they are delicious :-)
great video!
the best coffee machine ever :)
still using it
Does it take both normal and decaf beans and if so, is it case of programming it in or is it just selected by a touch of a button? Thank you.

Could you please advise length of power cable ?

Can you put coco powder in the pre grinded coffee compartment? To make mocha or hot choc? Would love to see you test it
I dont like the fact the reviewer did not anser your smart question . I would have ask the same.
@@pierrecharles1probably didn’t see it to be fair.

1 question: can you set up a cappuccino or other milk variant where it FIRST BREWS ESPRESSO and LATER automatically adds milk??
On my Melitta CI touch which is an older version of this, it makes a Cappuccino by first adding the coffee, then the milk. I think this one is the same.
Cappuccino is coffee before milk always, latte is milk before coffee.
@@Alen725 yes, I agree BUT many machines have only 'cappuccino' as option YET make it the WEONG way around which is extremely disappointing.

Hi! Do you know if it is possible to make milk foam separately? For making a hot chocolate for example. 🤓😊
You sure can, just press the milk button and you are good to go
I would probably put a spare cup underneath for the clean out so as not to walk across the kitchen with the drip tray.
Only problem with that, the brewing system rinses itself which goes directly into the tray, so you would still have to walk across the kitchen with a drip tray unfortunately.
I see. Oh well, no big deal.
Hi - is there a seal on the lid of the beans hopper?
It looks like a great machine, so can people recommend it? 😀
I would recommend it for sure, I would wait until they go on offer though as they are quite pricey without a discount.

mine goes in easy I think your just doing it wrong
I’ve not had this problem, I find it quite easy to disassemble and clean….
LMAO HAHAHA what? Its extremely easy to do. One of the easiest in fact.
Can it make two milk based drinks at the same time?
Hey MattyH it sure can. There is a button to double up any of the pre defined programmes. You then just put the cups side by side. Comes in handy too if you need a big mug of coffee 😉

For 1 min it doesn't seem a big deal.
Thank you for the video! Not got one yet but was wondering will this machine work from smart life App?
I doubt it. 🤔
Are your device summing? My device emits a loud coil whine when the LEDs lights up.
No device summing, audio uploaded without edit. I don’t hear any whines from mine, sounds like there may be something wrong with yours…
How much coffee cups can make with one been container?

hot milk drinks or warm?
I'd say hot. You can adjust the output temp in the app though if you want it cooler.
Okay slow and Siemens just looks better.
Faster and better than Siemens in literally every possible way. And it looks better. Cope that you bought inferior machine.
Hi, can you make hot chocolate with it?
The machine would give you hot milk and you would have to add powdered chocolate to the cup directly
