Enjoyed! Now comparing with other AI tools and most used software as a service platforms like QDA miner, Delve and RQDA? So far it really does a nice neat job and comparing with my notes I am impressed at the speed of which it works. This means 16 hrs of idle work reduced to 5 min consolidating files and running it! Those software providers are in trouble...but to be honest I was more impressed with ChatGPT4 it is outstanding the quality and it was able to capture things I captured in only 2 out of 40 interviews. I had to modify your prompt to suit my goals and now it is a tool of impressive use.
thank you for sharing. Yes, I agree, the traditional software designers are in trouble indeed. I expect them to start incorporating some new elements that are based on AI soon or else they are out. Probably will reduce their price significantly too. Overall I would also say I'm more impressed with ChatGPT than the above, mainly because it feels more interactive and the process of going back and forth with prompts and stuff actually resembles the process of data analysis. Nevertheless, this one is pretty impressive two, a year ago I would be over the moon, it is just that we are getting more and more spoiled these days that we are becoming critical of these tools :)
Wow once again amazing content! Please create more videos about AI tools like this! Very helpful. Also for AILYZE, seems the free tier seem to be only one document analysis
Thank you for your comment, glad to hear you are enjoying this content - I now have a whole "AI in research" playlist on the channel, where you will find a lot of useful tools (e.g. in the most recent video, I compare 3 free tools that can help with literature reviews). Regarding this one, I recorded it some time ago so I am not sure about the limitations of the free version, I think it used to be different.
@@qualitativeresearcher btw I tried a pro version yesterday. It does more or less the same as the Lite version but processes a lot more documents. I think it is really worth the money (5$) I paid for it.
Bonjour, superbe démonstartion. I'm doing a thesis in which I have to code, using an a priori coding grid (other codes may emerge from the interviews), around thirty interviews of 25 pages each. Is it possible to do this with AILYSE in its free or paid version and then do thematic analysis for the results and discussion sections of a qualitative research thesis?
Thank you for the kind feedback, and for the question. I am not sure , unfortunately. Been a while since I used this tool. You may need to reach out to them directly and ask. If I were to bet on it, I would say it may struggle with this amount of content, but it's just a guess
I just tried it and while it looks good at face value - it created some themes which were almost the exact opposite of the content and also made up quotes to support. Do you know if it is creating this? I haven't tested whether ChatGPT directly is more accurate
Not sure about this tool, but I know that ChatGPT can also sometimes come up with some bullsh*t when asked to code stuff and provide quotes. It can be good and accurate but it requires close monitoring - I once got a bunch of quotes from it that I later could not find in the text, and when I asked it, it said that it just thought these would be good quotes to represent the themes :) So yeah, definitely need to be careful
no there isn't anything that will do the analysis. There are only packages that can be used by the researcher where the researcher conducts the analysis - However, I think it is reasonable to expect that someone is already working on the above, I would be very surprised if by the end of this year there is still no such software
Thank you sir.I just want to ask a question? When I do qualitative dat with AILyze ,For example I have to upload all my transcipts into it and it summarizes it and gives examples, right? My question is,when I use those examples in my thesis, arent they detected like in turn it in? Because my documents are in a platform.I want to use this but I dont want to get disappointed when I get my turn it in report.I mean as these AI are new,we dont know şf they are detected in the reports like turn it in
Thank you for this question - I do not have the answer , however, at this point. I do not have a detailed enough understanding of this platform and how it stores the data to be able to tell you
Ailyze lite is totally different from this video. You don't get quotes, you cant extract document, only essay option is available. Its hard to tell what it can really do. and it $50 per month!
it's been a while since I recorded this video, so I did not know that things have changed. You are right that $50/month is way too high, considering the amount of competition these days and how good they are
Impressive tool, however there is no information on the provider, where they are from, nothing about them....I sent a message into who ever it is asking them who they are and where they are from. It appears somewhere in USA California. I sent it earlier this morning still waiting to hear back from who ever it is ? Anyone have information on who is providing the AILYZE? They do however have 18 pages of security, privacy and terms to ensure your data is safe.....Maybe I am missing something....Nothing about who they are, only what their mission is. Does this sound sketchy or credible? Can we trust our data with them? Whoever they are? Maybe its "AI" LOL
lol. I will let him know to respond to you. I do have a contact to, and have spoken with the guy who developed it. He's an MIT student, but you are right in raising all these concerns, you need to be sure about these things if you want to entrust someone with your data

May you share the prompts you use to improve the thematic analysis in ChatGPT?

So good! I loved every bit of this video and how practical it was.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you Sir . Using both this one and the other ChatGPT will be awesome.
Thanks for telling about this software. It saved my life. Thank you so much
Glad it helped!

I just use ChatGPT itself, don't see what's wrong with that.
nothing wrong with that, just another platform and that one is more focused on the analysis itself
