What's kind of hilarious/awesome is that you and Katerina Sutton have totally different approaches to the move. You say to focus on the isolation, and the extension will follow. Katerina says in her tutorial to focus on drawing a perfect circle with the extension, and the isolation will fit right in. Lovely reminder that there's no one right way to hoop! Great tutorial.
They both make sense as i you get one part of the trick right, the other hoop should naturally be right as well. Perhaps... focus on the one you find hardest and the other should be ok. I like Isopuppy's idea best as really all the outer hoop needs is enough speed to not fall and hit you on the wrist. Isolating is in my opinion, quite hard.
..✨this was the very First Hoop Video i ever saw, when i started trying to Hoop, June 2019🥰..U are one of my Hero-Girls, and im so Blessed to ever "bump into U" on RUclips❣✨💗✌🏼
your a star been trying to learn this for month and i just got it in five minutes flat!! best piece of advice was that starting position and the rocking! xxx
i just love how candid and laid back you are with your videos. it really makes me feel like i can accomplish this, instead of an otherwise cold or constructed "by the book" tutorial. Thanks for sharing your skills!!! I'm hoping to master twins this summer!
you're adorable! Thanks for the laid back tutorial. I've kind of plateaued when it comes to my hooping so I'm going to really push myself this summer to learn some new tricks. Thanks for putting yourself out there!
Great tutorial- I like the bucket o water analogy! your movements are super smooth. and the linears are amazing and your double hand anti spin iso flower is genius. fyi Im pretty sure Vanessa Vortex was the first hooper doing that isoflower ( around 08) and of course nicolas Longuechaud ( like most isos) before that around 2004. also look up Michael Moschen. some of his old rings vids are making the migration from vhs to youtube as well.
Hello! You're just brilliant! I have a memory of you doing a tutorial on a two-hoop isolation variation where one hoop is doing a normal isolation in front of you, and the one behind is isolating on a tilted axis. I don't know what the move is called, and I can't find the video I thought you had on it. Am I imagining it, or did you use to have a video on this? If not, do you know what the move is called? Thank you!
You are so chill! I'd love to have an instructor like you. What size hoops do you recommend for a 5 ft tall beginner? I'm wanting to do both body work and multi hoop work like in your tutorial, but don't know what size hoops to buy.
Man for some reason I am having so much trouble learning this trick. The outside hoop keeps wants to just spin a lot and keeps going back up my arm. Guess I just gotta keep tryin!
You are so cute and I'm jello of those yellow hoops. What size are they? They seem like they might be my favorite size. I'm thinking of downsizing my clear polypros
Hello Isopuppy ! Your trick seems amazing and I am trying to do it. However, I must be doing something wrong, because my arm is full of bruises, I have tried to full one of the mini hoops with sand to increase its weight and make the bigger isolation longer, is it all right ? there is another trick to avoid bruises ? Thanks in advance for the tip.
Alicia Garcia Falgueras Its very normal to get hoop bruises, the more your body adjusts to hooping on those parts and will bruise less, you can also take irom to help heal faster or bruise less easily.
Great tutorial ISO-puppy! I have been trying to get this one for a while. I am practicing in my basement so the ceiling is quite low. Do you think that is why I am having trouble? I am not really able to extend my arm all the way up as I create the circle when it is on my wrist. Also is there one type of hoop that tends to work better, I have a 33' poly-pro doubles. I would really appreciate any advice you could offer.
i thinks the problem is definitely your low ceiling!c Even if you do have enough room to fully extend you need more then enough room to properly learn and fail a feww times....( you know perfect your style ) 33 in hoops should work just fine!!! in this tutorial though im using 27in poly
I'd imagine your planes aren't parallel. I 'cheat' a bit and have one hoop further down my arm than my wrist. However if it's too far towards my elbow the hoop tends to lose momentum.
Ah I isolate by bringing my arm across my body first... Does that make a difference to weather I can go into a isopop... Either way suddenly the hoop turns the other way does this stop the momentum of the outside hoop? 🤔 I'm going to study and master iso flower today one way or another 😂 anyone have tiktok clairesaunders7 😜hula girl aha x

Thanks I guess ill have to wait till it gets a little warmer and I can take it outside :)
Ei!!! you rock girl!!! =D
My hoops always clash when I try and do the isoflower pop is there anyway to prevent that?
I'd imagine your planes aren't parallel. I 'cheat' a bit and have one hoop further down my arm than my wrist. However if it's too far towards my elbow the hoop tends to lose momentum.
For some reason I can do the variation but I can slow down enough to do the first part:(
