great stuff Nick. Snapshots are great and many more Helix product owners need to understand the power they give you and get away from the Preset mindset. Love the David Gilmour tone. cant wait to try it on my LT. Please keep these up in this format with a free preset that helps you understand the concepts you are trying to convey in the tutorial. Only comment / suggestion to imporve: could you please record in 1080p as the video is kinda blurry and hard to see especially the HX Edit settings (yes I know you provided the preset ) but still...... I know it takes more bandwidth but..... 1080 is the min these days :) I know it helps to have a super fast ethernet connection (I havce 500 MB up and down so...) keep rockin!
noob question. I have 4 snapshots set up for the 4 presets I am using. If I am on preset 1 snapshot 3 for example and I switch to preset 4, when I return to preset 1 I need the helix to remain on snapshot 3. Currently it always switches to snapshot 1 and then I have to pedal dance to get it to return to snapshot 3. Is there a config that preserves the snapshot state when switching between presets?
Hey and thanks for the video! if I have a snapshot with a lot of delay and the next snapshot has different delay how do I set helix to get smoother transitions and not hear echoing sounds after I turn on the next snapshot?
Thank you very much for the great video series. I would love an opinion if any one could suggest a more efficient way of using my Setlists and Snapshots to achieve a live rig setup for my Helix LT. Basically the band performs 3 or 4 sets of songs and my setup is as follows. One Setlist per Set with 14 to 16 songs per set. Each song has a maximum of 8 Snapshots each configured to include Intro, Verse, Chorus, Bridge, Solo and Outro, with the other 2 Snapshots used when extra effects are required. For example, an Intro that may start with an acoustic sound but needs to switch extra affects. Intro:PA & Intro:PB etc. While this seems to work OK, it doesn't seem a very efficient use of the few Setlists available? Especially if one needed to set up setlists for several types of venues. I have only had my Helix for a couple of weeks so any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Is a version of HXEdit available for the iPhone? Perhaps a workaround could be to save the setlists on the iPhone and load them in each venue as needed???
If I put an active block in a snapshot, this effect will be active too and affecting other snapshots within the preset. How could I avoid this to happen ?
Much appreciated Nick.. I’m new to the game and found this really helpful and inspiring!
Snapshot reselect is genius!!! Great video!!
That was a great lesson - great help for me. Thanks!

good video, I've had the helix for years and still constantly learning
Can you run stereo delays and verbs in parallel while keeping the stereo image? Or is parallel path only possible for mono signals?

My little dial doesn't go white when I press it, does need enabling somewhere?

I thinkk what you need to do, is go to the OTHER snapshots, and bypass the effect you dont want in them. (
Great content, but: Why this sound- and Video Quality?
