Edd is a amazing developer, I follow his job since avoriaz, congratz for the talk
I was so focussed on the talk, I didn't notice my cursor was in the middle of the screen! 😂
Hah! I didn't either for a good while. But I was distracted by your excellent talk. Thanks for this - looking forward to your book this summer.
Is the book released yet?
It's released on an early access program-www.manning.com/books/testing-vuejs-applications. It will be released fully this Summer
Awesome! It is rare to find a huge book on exactly the niche topic you wanted , you are the man!
Love your accent. Makes listening to you so much more enjoyable.
Excellent. Really! Question: starting to wonder why you don't write tests in the same SFC file ... ?
You can do it! Edd himself wrote vue-test-loader, that extracts the content of tags into *.spec.js files.
leopiccionia thank you... Would you have Pointer to pros and cons discussion for this approach?
Hi Tom, the pro is that your tests are inside the component they're testing! That's powerful colocation. The downside is that not all editors provide highlighting to blocks.
Great talk, thank you Edd
Thanks!
