I live in Canada and I've never heard of Boxius in Greek Mythology. Given I used to work retail and security in a retail environment on Boxing Day. Rather stay home on Boxing Day as Boxius believes in savings all week and we'll into January before going away totally for another year.
I was thinking this was related to British and Ancient Roman 'boxing day' celebrating Saturnalia in which slave owners and slaves switched roles for a day. The slaves and servants being allowed to rest while the owner of the house would prepare the food and clean.

Interesting that the book featured in this 10-year-old video features Sarah playing with a toy Cybertruck. This children's book author is apparently a prophet.

Approximately. There's no really clear origin for it or the name, it dates back to the middle ages. But that's everyone's best guess.
