My current sideboard is, after adding the 1 flamethrower/1 grenade strike maindeck: 1 steela 2 pillage 2 krayt 1 mace windu 1 force choke 2 heroic sacrifice 1 blood sport Pillage comes in for blue grindy decks like QiRa, Yoda, Anakin. Steela for more pillage vs hyper control like Thrawn, Bossk. Drop low removal like Dairing Raid/Grenade strike. Krayt/Mace for decks that remove all your units, blue decks. Drop equipment for them. Herioc Sacrice is for aggro burst decks. Drop Wild Rancor / Mace for them. Blood Sport is for the exploit / droid / clone decks. Drop a daring raid. Force Choke is for decks you need to do 5 dmg bad, like Sabine and Anakin.
I tried it, it's good. This deck aims to control the field so I felt sometimes I wanted to not play units, need to keep equipment low. I like how it can go on space so it fits the space strat, could be a monster on corvette. I didn't like it but I could see playing 1-2
How Important is pillage for you? I would exchange it with bombing run, sure its expensive but it can have a big impact. I didnt have the experience with mace but i think it gets more pressure than card removal
@@Fnjrczk it’s really important in the blue grindy matches , when they care less about you removing units cause they play 3 avenger . You use pillage to force them to not be able to resource to 9. I have since go down to 1 pillage in favor of 2 flamethrowers, which is way better than bombing for its cost . I would add a third unlimited power before even thinking of bombing run, unlimited is far more versatile for only 1 more
@ that was my next question, if a third unlimited power is a good option. I will try it in a couple of days when my three overpriced k2so arived lol. Love to learn the mechanics behind mace, cause i see a good potential in this kind of non meta leader
Hey there, I was enjoying this deck until I ran into anything even remotely late-game and it just feels hopeless into things like double blue heroic or hard control (r/b, u/y) since removing their late game options doesn't really seem viable Going space aggressive doesn't feel like enough early, and the hand rip strategy also didn't feel like enough to keep up, any tips?
Open fire and Aggression should be enough to kill most end game, you'll need 1 more dmg for things like Luke and Cad. If they start dropping multiple Avenger you're probably too far gone. You need to take the role of aggro in those matches and flood the board early. Put pressure on base while discarding from their hand. Make them choose between answering your board and resourcing. Don't play ground when they play SLT. If you pressure them enough and discard, you should hit Krayt around the time they hit Avenger/Snoke which should be enough to end the game
@@RandomNumberGaming Yeah I can believe that haha, thanks for the tips, Krayt is definitely an MVP for those matchups I've found, I tried siding an off colour FTD for things like Avenger and it's felt okay at best. Will just have to try more aggressive approaches I suppose, thanks for the response!
@ it actually was a tweet where they talked about the deck being a control deck and that it would run out of cards so that’s why they made mace saber do what it does. I’ve noticed that the way this is built you can get to 0 cards in hand towards mace flip. So I thought it was kool.
I've considered it. It's issue is for 5, it's only 3 dmg so it only kills 2 drops, or space units. So it could be a good sideboard against space wide decks

Would you care to talk about your sideboard strategy? What comes in for what ? Against who ?
Love the deck
My current sideboard is, after adding the 1 flamethrower/1 grenade strike maindeck:
1 steela
2 pillage
2 krayt
1 mace windu
1 force choke
2 heroic sacrifice
1 blood sport

Blood Sport is for the exploit / droid / clone decks. Drop a daring raid.
Force Choke is for decks you need to do 5 dmg bad, like Sabine and Anakin.
Love the idea of this deck. Will for sure try it out. Thx for sharing it.
Cool idea :) I'm so going to play this at my local :) Only a few cards missing but that's fine :)
Thanks for the video :)
hey! I’ve been following your channel since the DBZ PANZ days! Love that you’re making SWU content, keep up the good stuff.
SWU is a great game! Thanks for hanging with us for so long.
Alright you hyped the deck. I'll give it a shot.
Lol great video!
they do call me the hype man lol
I think I ran into you playing this online last night. I was running double green Moff. Wild gameplay! Great deck profile
It wasn't me but glad it's out there in the wild !
Definitely got a new Subscriber after this deck!! Thank you!!
Tons more decks coming! Welcome aboard !!
It’s a fun deck, still trying to get the hang of it. I die a lot before I get Mace flipped. Looking forward to updates!
Thanks you for sharing
The flip turn looks fun.
be good to see a few games
What about adding bombing run to the side board? Might be useful for those silly droid decks and space decks
Saw Garerra would be another good synergy for fleet lieutenant
Please record some videos when you are playing such interesting deck and rare.
Match to release on Monday with Mace !
Thoughts on Twice the Pride? Removal in many cases, but can really help push DMG to base as you can add it to a space unit here in your deck.

I honestly think of this as removal for your build. (ie. Playing this upgrade on your opponent for 2 DMG). Would that change your above sentiment?
@@daniels2188 no cause if it gets the unit make an opening, reflection, takedown etc its a blowout against you.

double blue hero may be a hard counter. could work in Saw from set 1 and Wolfe, but it seems like a hard counter to me.

Did you consider force choke? 5dmg for 4 or 7 for 5 resources with the leader ability.
Good answer for sabine or those pesky 7hp leaders
Twice the pride?
Twice the pride tested poorly for me. Its def a potential add though since it can go on space units
Hey did you hear what the developers said about this deck? I think you have constructed this very well.
No I didn't ! Was this on a live stream ?

How often do you end up killing your own units with unlimited power, or not playing it because of that?
rarely. At most I do 1 dmg to my own
What is the sideboard? You mention steela, but what else is there?
I rewatched: 1 pillage, 2 steela, 1 grenade, 2/3 krayt, ....

How is he against Jango red?
excellent
I did blue with 25 space units
That was my second thought. You lose Aggression, Rancor, and Unlimited power but gain Obiwans ship.
Why not just Bombing run?
It costs too much
