Arguably the most handsome goat in the high mountains (the Ibex, not J Alain}! Watch as he tracks them in the rugged cliffs of central Turkey where long shots are always required.
Well Alain I love to watch all your videos as those are all interesting and knowledgable and offcourse you are a great hunter and I really appreciate your skills. I wish I could join your team. Thanks
Your camera men is great, not only that he survive, but he makes great footage. This hunt on ibex will be one of my near future dreams. But first back to Africa after Corona
Alan, I love watching ur videos, just wanted to ask, WHICH OF UR HUNT WAS THE MOST DIFFICULT ...I SAW UR HUNT FOR MARKHOR IN PAKISTAN...THAT WAS AWESOME...STAY BLESSED
well no alain - not everybody - notice the women are not allowed to join in these 'family meals.' they get to fix all the food and do all the work but they don't get to eat with the men - and yes i was there
I would love to hunt and be a tourist in Turkey. But I just cant bring myself to do so. Has nothing to do with the people living there, but it is the Turkish Government itself that I find repulsive. Beautiful Ibex by the way.
Beautiful animal it was almost a shame to see you shoot him but..... that was an absolutely awesome animal and probably a once in a lifetime shot and kill!!!
How does this guy not have 1M subscribers? Funny as hell and has the coolest job in the world. --BBMD, FACOG

Markhor was up there as the hardest, but Polar bear was the most miserable..
that looks so much like the canyon i hunted in turkey - we got showed about by a 3 foot snowfall
We do not recommend hunting with Shikar Safaris anymore.
Reason?
@@abdulraheemsiddiqui9536 Hunts are not as promised or what you pay for.
Ur right it’s too expensive the Markhor / Capra falconeri is from 299 to 499 thousand dollars way too much
I remember this from the TV. A fancinat
fascinating place. The tombs up on the side of the mountain, I find mind blowing.
Always enjoyed Mr. Smith's show
Thank you for the video. :)
got to hunt ibex in turkey years ago - would have enjoyed seeing the ruins
That terrain reminds me of some of the forests that I went through in Germany. Definitely not something you'd want to do everyday.
great adventure.. love it..
notice the ladies are not allowed to join them for meals - the fix the meals then hide in the back
