Biography
Pastors Jeff and Kelli Couture have been pursuing Jesus together in vocational ministry since they met in 2009. They have ministry experience in many capacities including children's, youth ministry, media, and worship ministry. A few years after marrying in 2011, the Lord began to deposit the desire to one day become church planters. Rescue Church Austin, birthed in 2022, is the realization of that calling. The Couture’s, along with their 4 children, Micah, Peyton, Rylan, and McKenna are believing for a mighty move of God in the Austin area. They have a passion to see people come to know Jesus and live a fully activated life of faith. Their vision and mission is to see the people of God sent out from the four walls of the church establishment, bringing the good news of Jesus Christ wherever they go. The Lord has put a mandate in their hearts to recenter the church around the fact that the only way to do this affectively is to go “with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power” according to 1 Corinthians 2:4. Their hope is to equip every believer with the knowledge and truth that “His power is in them, to rescue the lost, refresh the found, and restore the broken.
