ICMR DHR this year has increased the age limit but applicants are facing issues filling up 'year of passing' under the post-graduation. PG passed-out candidates... below the passing year 2021 are not allowed (even if the age limit is extended). The last date for submission is on Tuesday (09/07/2024). NTA has assured a few applicants that there is a technical glitch and the team is working to solve the problem. We are close to the closing date of the online submission and payment. I therefore request you to address the issue to the students through a video.

They have given age limit 30, yet people who passed masters before 2022 are not able to apply. What's the point of increasing the age limit then? This makes no sense and we as students must protest and stand against this action.

Have you received any communication from ICMR in this regard? I am sending mail but they are not responding. Moreover, I have seen some student's comments mentioning that they were responded to same queries from ICMR saying that the JRF eligbility critieria does not include students prior to 2022 and current application form correctly reflects the same.
