  • In todays video we FINALLY get to ride our freshies with all the aftermarket parts we put on them. We got into some pit bike races and a few drag races as well. The Honda didn't perform as we expected, watch the full vid to see the result, enjoy!
    Drop a comment on what other vids you would wanna see us do with our pitters!

    The carbureted bikes can be a little faster. However the EFI bikes are much more reliable and don’t have to worry about a carb. I like Yamaha, but I’d pick Honda over the Yamaha for the EFI.

      Definitely need a tune on the Honda .my buddies yam was faster ,after a tune my Honda is definitely quicker and smoother also I’m 65lb heavier then him .but to me all 110s are good and fun .

      @@shaneehrke1949 140$ from crj performance. I do suggest doing a few things first like back fire screen and exhaust and intake tube with it just so you don’t pay again if you do those things .definitely wakes the bike up money well spent for me

    Built quality on the little TTR is top notch , made in Japan. Not like all the other 110s.

    I put the 130 big bore on. Stock cam. 28mm carb. Cheap aftermarket pipe. We keep getting beat by a crf with similar mods. Does the upgraded cam make that much of a difference? Can you give me some tips to make my ttr faster than the crf

    • @shaneehrke1949
      @shaneehrke1949  Год назад

      in that vid we were comparing stock engines. not sure what pipe you got maybe since it’s a cheap one like you said that might not add as much power/throttle response to it. (just a guess) i have a bbr d3 on my 110 and compared to the stock one it’s nice and day. but i’ve heard that the hondas are hard to beat since you can tune them and yamahas you can’t. i’m not 100% sure the upgraded cam will make a difference, maybe run higher octane gas once and see if that gives it more of a snort

  • @sxshethean3069
    @sxshethean3069 Год назад

    Looks pretty accurate. Yamaha is lighter with a aftermarket pipe. Honda is probably a little bit more reliable but either way they’re both sweet little machines

    What are your heights and weights for perspective on the bike performance? I'm a new 5'9" 220 shopping for bikes in CO. I have lots of mountain bike downhilling experience but very little for moto.

    • @shaneehrke1949
      @shaneehrke1949  Год назад +2

      i’m about 6’0 and 210 and he’s about 5’9 and 155. either of the bikes would be good for you, if you get a stock pit bike i would suggest upgrading the bars to pro taper, and get bbr springs for the forks and a more robust rear shock and you should be golden!
