      People really need to learn how to focus on positive things. Seems like the online gaming community is more about complaining about bad games than praising good games.

      @@fattiger6957 Indeed. While the AAA space has understandably been so rotten to the core these days, I just wish some fellow gamers could invest more time in appreciating the gems that are still out there rather than just swamping themselves in negativity by only ragging on whatever slop is being pushed out these days.
      I haven't really picked up Baldur's Gate 3 yet, but I'm looking to pick it up at some point hearing all the good stuff about it. Two of my favorite games nowadays are Armored Core 6 and ULTRAKILL. Both goated games.

    • @SentinelX-24324
      @SentinelX-24324 15 дней назад +1

      @@fattiger6957 Compared to the Souls games, the story is actually pretty straightforward to follow, with it ramping up as you play along. For gameplay, don't expect it to play like "Dark Souls but with robots." AC6 and the rest of the AC games play far differently from the Souls games, tending to encourage far more aggressive playstyles. The games are still difficult in their own right, but 6 is widely seen a starting point for newcomers to the AC series, like myself.

    Jarrel I have loved all the videos for the most part! I like that you are just sharing your knowledge and love for your hobbies. Some feedback, a clip on mic for these types of videos where you are standing in your studio I think would enhance the clarity and make you more easy to understand. Cleaning of the background noise will help as well.
    For a quick audio clean up tip, record the first 20-30 seconds without saying anything and then leave another 20-30 seconds at the end, then in post process, you can use Audacity to isolate the background part the audio, target it in the entire audio recording and remove the background audio or limit it to a very minimal level.
    In Audacity, if you go to Effect > Noise Removal and Repair > Noise Reduction. Step 1 is to highlight the 15-20 second portion of the intro noise of your video which would be the background sound. Then you click Get Noise Profile. Then highlight the entire set of audio you want to clean up, and click 'OK' to reduce the noise. Its a very simple step to make much cleaner audio for those times you are away from your mic.

    • @sungrandstudios
      @sungrandstudios  15 дней назад +7

      I appreciate that! Thank you for the advice. I normally do have a lapel mic but it somehow has built in noise reduction and blocks out any sound the instruments make. I'll invest in a decent shotgun mic for these kinds of videos.

    It's always good to have hobbies where you can use your hands. Digital entertainment only satisfies two of our senses. Building things with your hands, feeling them come together into a complete piece is incredibly satisfying. Then when you look at the completed piece on your shelf or mounted on your wall, you recall the experience of building it and the emotions you felt. I realized all that when I started building model kits a couple years ago.

      Well said. I absolutely agree. The focus you exert to build and finish a model is both relaxing and satisfying.

    A lovely demonstration of the instruments. What DAW do you use btw? And maybe favorite synths? :D You don't have to answer everything if it's too much to write.

      Thank you for being a good sport about. I hate clickbait too. I can see that people are irritated and stressed out by things in the gaming industry and this is the only way I can see to reach people who are in need of some positivity and chill vibes. If I just labeled this video as "relaxing banjo music" RUclips absolutely would not show the video to anyone. I've been doing that for a while and it just does not work.

    Ok, I know this may sound silly coming from a computer nerd who loves video games, but I also love music and find it quite fascinating and awesome that you design your own instruments as a hobby and that it applies to your game work! Love the video! How long did it take for you to learn this, what made you get started doing it? I love it! Oh, and when is your game coming out and what is it about?
