If Leon decides to take a break from the national team to focus on AV, that's his prerogative. With regards to his suspension for breaking curfew, I don't support the response he gave. Had he broken curfew at AV he would have also had to be punished somehow and the punishment would have had to be meaningful. Coach Halgrimmson thought a one game suspension was meaningful for the curfew violation and I support him on the position he took.
So, we can stop chastise Hutchinson for focusing on establishing himself as a professional

There seems to be one common denomination in all the issues involving jamaican football. Poor /mismanagement by the JFF. First the girls now leon.

Boyd and Onandi Lowe are better players than Bailey they play an important role to help Jamaica qualify for the only world cup. Simones suspend them for discipline. Bailey not performing on the field for Jamaica he is indicipline and he should be discipline just like any other player.

Wright now Jamaica football team, don't have a side, to me , we soon need another Coach, we need a coach to salves problems not to create, problem, if i was the Coach, anyone of my players , broke the rules, i would fine them , i would never stop anyone of them to play for the team, because when my team cannot get results ,my job is on the line , most of the players Them vexed because, of how the Coach handled Leon Bailey decision ,don't Surprise if some of the players ,them make themselves not available for the reggae boys side , how can you tell your player to go home, because him sleep out, fine him are bench him, for a game, anyone of them, not to stop them to play on the team, Coach we need results,

What is the timing of this interview ? No ONE can deny the JFF poorly run in many , many aspects ! The JFF is the reason JA has NOT made another WC to date!! Now that I have gotten that out the way. Did Leon Bailey violate the Coaches rules ? Did Leon Baily violate Curfew and missed the team Bus ? Rules are Rules. Those who are supporting Leon Bailey must learn to separate issues. Sadly some of what he has mentioned i.e. (team selection) is nothing new, we all see that the JFF seems clueless and forever unable to truly get in the BEST talent to play for JA, for whatever reason.
BOTH Bunny shaw and Leon suffer from a habit where they cannot explain themselves properly. It must be a lack of media training as they seem to give interviews in which they end up giving information which has quite a bit of element to it which is incorrect or dubious. Why is this?

Let Leon Bailey do what he wants. Total lack of respect for the JFF and the team. Indiscipline is why so many people lose their lives in Jamaica in all ways. I would ask the question why aren't the same reoccurring issues been dealt with, I totally understand Leon's perspective imagine working so hard and trying to make a change, to something that isn't beneficial to you in anyway, only to be disregarded or disrespect and treated as though you have the bald and not the handle. This is just a red herring to mask the real issue, which is the suspension from the national team. No one is bigger than the game and when you break rules there are consequences. Would he have given this interview if he was not suspended? This was definitely orchestrated by Craig Butler to get back at the JFF with whom he has been beefing with for some time now.
