Update me on the progress. I'm 2 yrs. In July long road but God has all ways seemed to keep me conscious of hope and a future. I love to witness true miracles.

IV just gota say brill share and IV been clean off of heroin and crack now for 7 month now and I came off the street with my carrier bags full of clothes moving from door ways to havin my own place a baby on the way and my daughter back in my life recovery is an amazing thing thank god for coming in my life and helping me change thanks to my higher power 🙏

Your a good speaker Jim. I was looking at videos of heroin addiction and got linked here, so I watched your talk and decided to comment. I like NA and even if I don't agree fully with a 12 step program, they do provide addicts with hope for a future and I've had friends who have recovered using NA and I respect that. You can get clean with NA, but it takes more than just 12 steps. It takes TOTAL CHANGE of your life. I've read a lot of posts about recovery and some seem honest and some seem like bullshit. Here is my honest take. Being an educated drug addict loser doesn't make you a benefit to society, unless you turn your life around and use what you have learned to help yourself and others. Otherwise, all you are doing is trying to use the Internet boards to somehow salvage your meaningless addict life with bullshit and rationalize your insane behavior by talking to strangers with some logical posts. While it may be true your telling facts and truth, your still a loser and will continue to be a loser, unless you change your life. What really matters is how you view yourself, your own self confidence and how you apply that to a beneficial life for yourself, your potential friends, partners, spouses, etc. If you have no self worth, confidence or skills YOUR NOTHING! That is REALITY! You will stay a nothing addict, until the day you die. So, to the Internet posting addict bullshit artists I say this. Get used to being a addict loser now and maybe it won't bother you going forward. If it does bother you, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT AND CHANGE YOUR LIFE! NA is one way out, if you apply yourself!
The chap is only new and says he Believes in Na but not the steps . I’ve been there at one time but not today . I learnt not to judge but hey guess what I’m not always right or perfect and never want to be perfect but god gave me a Brian and a voice that I found Cauz of fellowships 🙏🏻📘💜🕯🦋
