Mostly agreed with tier, but I think you put the taq-56 too low, it’s pretty s-tier. Also the kastov-545 is pretty garbage tier as well, outclassed by every smg in close range, outclassed by literally every AR at standard AR range.
If the m16 doesn't get a buff in the season I update I would be absolutely baffled It was one of my favourite guns in the original mw2 it hurts to see that it's so inaccurate and so much recoil for one of the easiest calibers to handle ie; the lachman 5.56, and stb 5.56 It's gonna hurt even more that the raal is probably gonna get a huge nerf, especially when it was almost no one's choice when it released post-mw in the first warzone. The spr may get a slight nerf but at the end of the day it's still going to wreck, I feel like the aks-74u is going to get hit with range and control nerfs too I'm interested to see what will get buffed and nerfed and/or adjusted with Next week's big update

I agree with you on the Vaznev 9k, don’t get me wrong the ones along side it are good, but from my experience, there’s a reason this is popping up in the pro scene, and it’s a fantastic SMG and refreshingly different from the others.
You're sleeping on the minibak. Absolutely one of my favs and reminds me of the PP90M1 from MW3 but with a slower fire rate. Its so good. Great vid overall!

FTAC Recon for me is the worst, trying to level that up for unlocks is so painful. Single fire just isn't strong enough with its recoil. I would happily choose the M16 over it!
I just want to point out that the stb556 can rival smgs in sprint to fire speed without sacrificing much in terms of downsides, it's almost instant ads
The signal 50 is the weirdest gun I’ve ever used. It’s so slow and half the time I’m struggling to get 10 kills. But the other half I’m dropping 30-50 if I get the flow going.
I really enjoyed my time leveling the HCR but then going back to the STB with all the new attachments I'd unlocked through the HCR and building it for ADS just turned it into a beast.
Love the vids, Aug assault is just insane absolute my fav gun. Love that there is tons of weapons that are good to use and not 2 weapons that are broken
Hurricane is without a doubt under valued. It is basically a 50 bullet LC-10. The long barrel on it makes it very strong, don't skip barrel on this weapon.
Lach 5.56 is a laser beam if properly setup, been having lots of fun using it to bully sniper rifle users. Good to see it get some love in the top tier, i really dont see people using it much since everybody is bandwagoning on the 74u and the AKs
I agree with everything in this tier list. Except for the MX9. The gun itself has some ridiculous stability. Allowing for long range shots to be easier and more effective. Given the higher damage stat not only does it put people down reliably in 4 body shots at close range, it seems to handle medium-far ranges exceptionally well being able to put further targets down in as little as 5-6 shots depending on where you hit. I believe everyone should give it a try. The ADS speed isn’t bad either when running high stability builds. Which I tend to find that’s not the trend on most weapons.
I’m glad you out the EBR that high, I do not know why I see no one using it, but I see many people using battle rifles, even tho they’re very similar, only worse

Magnum is meta in the handgun category imo. You can swap in snakeshot with akimbo and this thing becomes a nightmare. And it's the only secondary that one shots to the body (with or without snakeshot)
I agree but for a different reason. I haven’t used snakeshot yet but I prefer the standard, if your aim is on point it’s a quick one shot headshot. Love it.

Yet in a modern game in both mw1 and mw2 snakeshot is just one of the best options even though it would do jackshit to plates, helmets, humans or even the uniform the soldiers are wearing

For the shotguns as I'm an advocator for them: use slugs instead of buckshot when you wanna get some range. 😃 Not sure how WZ2 is gonna treat the class this year (hopefully 1 shots to the head with slugs like the combat shotty) but in 6v6 MP, slugs are monsters in the right hands.
The slugs are kinda garbage ngl, I've been getting them plat and I feel like keeping it buckshot is a lot better at range if you use a longish barrel and a suppressor. The slugs just don't 1 shot as reliably as I'd like them especially at range. Not a skill issue jsut due to the ttk we don't have the time to put the gun on someone's head, especially with the Bryson 800 considering how slow it is
@@panplatinum3232 Exactly, they feel a lot harder to use reliably than they did in MW2019. I had a 725 slug class that was fully sawed-off with the Brownlee 32mm scope, that was super fun to fly around and quickscope with. Trying to do the same with the Lockwood 300 has only led to missed shots and depression so far.
Big tip for the m16 that helped me is the setting to hold the trigger to keep firing semi auto/bust weapons. On semi auto it slows the fire rate down a lot but for the m16 burst it caps fire rate and makes it much easier
I think the Basilisk should be above the deagle if only because akimbo snakeshot is as good now as it was in MW 2019. Also, the Lachmann 556 is quite a bit worse than the Grau was; it's ttk is the second lowest of the assault rifles, it's iron sights are pretty obtrusive, it's longest barrels hurt it's ads substantially, and it's reload is painfully slow even with quick hands.

Everyone mentions the P890 because of the 2 shot, but it sucks at range, shoots slow and has awful attachments and bullet velocity, it’s fine hipfire only. The X13 is a pocket marksman rifle when you add the stock, the thing is absolutely insane, I went for 66 with it and a shield the other day. Akimbo G18 and magnum are both pretty OP, and G18 can be kitted to be a pretty usable SMG secondary.

minibak/pp-bizon is probably the most slept on smg you have to tune it right tho but that thing for me top 3 smgs better than p90 by a long shot and has practically infinite ammo and kills like a demon with the right attachments 10/10 would reccomend
I recommend using the following FSS ole laser (ads and sprint to fire laser) the markeev stock true tac grip minibak grip mag and any site of your choice if you dont like the sights and need damage range switch it out for the barrel makes it slower but it shreds
RAPP H is one of the most OP guns in my opinion, with the right attachments, it’s almost unbeatable close, medium and semi-long rang. Def using for WZ loadout
I’d just like to say, thank you for the names of these tiers. Thank you for naming them things like “competitive” and “average”. These people gotta know there’s not one gun you gotta use. Map knowledge and aim will get you just as far most guns.
I would rank many of the battle rifles and marksman rifles differently. Maybe that is where there is most difference between mouse and controller? EBR-14 felt so bad and Lockwood MK2 felt amazing because how fast it is to use. Flickedy flick and that stuff. Harder to keep aim on point and hit two-three shots.
I have to agree. My favorite weapon in 2019 was the EBR14, and it feels underwhelming in this game, perhaps because of the faster overall ttk of the other weapons leading to less variation. It probably functions the same way as the 2019 version but with AR’s and the new Battle Rifle category, it just doesn’t have as much room to shine here. Sucks. I do however really enjoy the FTAC Recon, which I was surprised to see lowest on this list of the Battle Rifles. Some of these choices feel more objectively true, like the Kastov 762 and M4, as they are definitely dominant weapons, but others seem much more subjective and open to individual preference, like the Battle Rifles. I didn’t notice a huge difference between them, but wound up enjoying the FTAC Recon the best.
Okay great tier list but the basilisk needs to be placed higher, a secondary that can one shot to the upper chest and one tap headshot at long range is nuts. Plus, it’s got akimbo snakeshot like the revolvers in MW 2019.

Agree on all of them. My first and foremost change would be taq V down to competitive and taq 56 to meta. Taq V was the first battle rifle I got gold and it was worse in every situation compared to the taq 56. Worse recoil, definitely felt less powerful, slower, slower auto fire rate, not enough damage to be effective at single fire. Idk if the Taq V recently got a shadow buff but when I used it during the first couple days it was very mediocre at best. I have even enjoyed the Taq M far more than the V
I agree. I was a HUGE EBR14 fan in 2019, but even if it feels similar in this game, it’s underwhelming because it remained the same while most of the other weapons now have a faster ttk, closing the gap and promoting less variance between gun types. I get it, I get why they did that so everyone could feel like they have a decent chance with any weapon they want to use, however, it really takes away from the uniqueness of some of these weapon types that should be hard-hitting. I think I enjoyed the 2019 balance better. I still enjoy this game though, and will continue to pursue using semi-auto options as they’ve always been my favorite, even in the face of the extremely dominant AR’s…
The minibak being slept on so heavy brings tears to my eyes 😂 only because I know it’s not gonna get nerfed and I’ll keep destroying with it. 64 rounds dead accurate and definitely wins most gun fights.

I've been enjoying the m16 once i attached these attachments. Muzzle : FTAC CASTLE COMP + Barrel : 14" Carbine Shroud + Laser : Corio Laz-44 V3 + Optic : Cronen Mini Red Dot + Rear Grip : xten grip. i aim to shoot the mid torso and up.
M16 really isn’t that bad, the camp grind was one of the best for me. The 545 felt way way worse and the 74u is useless at range, and has some of the worst challenges.
Absolutely spot on list. The 74u and 762 could use some balancing, i feel they are over-performing. Raal also feels a bit too strong. That said it is one of things i think IW managed to get somewhat right was the gun balance. However, the M16 is pure torture to use, it baffles me how they could release a gun that is this bad, and to add insult it is the store...
You know, as much as I appreciate these “meta” posts, I hate them so much. After you and every other man and his mom make a post about them they become regular in every match and it forces the COD team to focus on weapon specific changes. I miss the days of testing on your own and figuring out what the best was. But MW2 2022 is far beyond different than MW2 2009.
Been enjoying all the Lachman weapons so far with the sub being my favorite. Looking forward to trying them in warzone. Thinking about an LM-S backed by aa Lachman Sub

The icarus was the 1st gun I used and I loved it. Ended up getting it platinum today and its completely ass terrible recoil and damage. Its the worst LMG you should swap it with the Raap imo

@@zacharypump5910 I usually go into any fast paced game mode like team death match, or kill confirmed, and I go with the perk that gives you and extra tactical and re-stock , when you go into a match you gonna throw your lethals and tactical a about 80m in-front of you and it will level your weapon up super fast and easy bro , and change your killstreaks to points instead of kills , make sure you have UAV and counter uav because every kill your teammates get will count points for you and when they kill someone near your decoy

It’s a bolt action you should be able to kill them at close range
On Controller it auto-aims to head or upper chest just like in MW 2019 it needs increased penalty to aim stabilty and sprint to fire speed

I’d just like to say, thank you for the names of these tiers. Thank you for naming them things like “competitive” and “average”. These people gotta know there’s not one gun you gotta use. Map knowledge and aim will get you just as far most guns.

I would rank many of the battle rifles and marksman rifles differently. Maybe that is where there is most difference between mouse and controller? EBR-14 felt so bad and Lockwood MK2 felt amazing because how fast it is to use. Flickedy flick and that stuff. Harder to keep aim on point and hit two-three shots.
I have to agree. My favorite weapon in 2019 was the EBR14, and it feels underwhelming in this game, perhaps because of the faster overall ttk of the other weapons leading to less variation. It probably functions the same way as the 2019 version but with AR’s and the new Battle Rifle category, it just doesn’t have as much room to shine here. Sucks. I do however really enjoy the FTAC Recon, which I was surprised to see lowest on this list of the Battle Rifles. Some of these choices feel more objectively true, like the Kastov 762 and M4, as they are definitely dominant weapons, but others seem much more subjective and open to individual preference, like the Battle Rifles. I didn’t notice a huge difference between them, but wound up enjoying the FTAC Recon the best.

Okay great tier list but the basilisk needs to be placed higher, a secondary that can one shot to the upper chest and one tap headshot at long range is nuts. Plus, it’s got akimbo snakeshot like the revolvers in MW 2019.

@@WhosImmortal although the same argument could be used regarding the SPR… but yes I know comparing rifle accuracy with pistol accuracy…. Still, I think especially on controller this weapon tracks well. I’ve gotten many headshots that I don’t think I had any business getting…

Three things I would change: Ebr into competitive slot, Lachman 556 into competitive slot and Kastov 545 into Average slot
Agree on all of them. My first and foremost change would be taq V down to competitive and taq 56 to meta. Taq V was the first battle rifle I got gold and it was worse in every situation compared to the taq 56. Worse recoil, definitely felt less powerful, slower, slower auto fire rate, not enough damage to be effective at single fire. Idk if the Taq V recently got a shadow buff but when I used it during the first couple days it was very mediocre at best. I have even enjoyed the Taq M far more than the V

I agree. I was a HUGE EBR14 fan in 2019, but even if it feels similar in this game, it’s underwhelming because it remained the same while most of the other weapons now have a faster ttk, closing the gap and promoting less variance between gun types. I get it, I get why they did that so everyone could feel like they have a decent chance with any weapon they want to use, however, it really takes away from the uniqueness of some of these weapon types that should be hard-hitting. I think I enjoyed the 2019 balance better. I still enjoy this game though, and will continue to pursue using semi-auto options as they’ve always been my favorite, even in the face of the extremely dominant AR’s…

The minibak being slept on so heavy brings tears to my eyes 😂 only because I know it’s not gonna get nerfed and I’ll keep destroying with it. 64 rounds dead accurate and definitely wins most gun fights.
And it’s got the best mobility stats for having 64 bullets in the mag

M16 still my favorite and was surprisingly the weapon I ranked up the quickest

I've been enjoying the m16 once i attached these attachments. Muzzle : FTAC CASTLE COMP + Barrel : 14" Carbine Shroud + Laser : Corio Laz-44 V3 + Optic : Cronen Mini Red Dot + Rear Grip : xten grip. i aim to shoot the mid torso and up.

Imo the mx9 should at least be in the competitive category. It’s my personal favorite smg and it’s so satisfying getting kills with it

M16 really isn’t that bad, the camp grind was one of the best for me.
The 545 felt way way worse and the 74u is useless at range, and has some of the worst challenges.
Haven't seen the video yet but It's weird seeing the aug be shown as the thumbnail for META because i love that gun since 2019
I think META is the most overused word in gaming. When this many guns are good there’s effectively no META.
M16 was bad, but when you unlock tuning and right attachments ive been 1 bursting people often. Not as bad as a lvl 1 m16

Absolutely spot on list. The 74u and 762 could use some balancing, i feel they are over-performing. Raal also feels a bit too strong. That said it is one of things i think IW managed to get somewhat right was the gun balance. However, the M16 is pure torture to use, it baffles me how they could release a gun that is this bad, and to add insult it is the store...

You know, as much as I appreciate these “meta” posts, I hate them so much. After you and every other man and his mom make a post about them they become regular in every match and it forces the COD team to focus on weapon specific changes. I miss the days of testing on your own and figuring out what the best was. But MW2 2022 is far beyond different than MW2 2009.

The icarus was the 1st gun I used and I loved it. Ended up getting it platinum today and its completely ass terrible recoil and damage. Its the worst LMG you should swap it with the Raap imo

@@zacharypump5910 I usually go into any fast paced game mode like team death match, or kill confirmed, and I go with the perk that gives you and extra tactical and re-stock , when you go into a match you gonna throw your lethals and tactical a about 80m in-front of you and it will level your weapon up super fast and easy bro , and change your killstreaks to points instead of kills , make sure you have UAV and counter uav because every kill your teammates get will count points for you and when they kill someone near your decoy
