Hey man I am working on a 1975 YZ80B that is almost completely original just missing the metal number plate and the front one. Wish I could ask you some questions lol I got it out of a barn last month and was told it's seen the light once in the early 2000s and the top end was done and his grandson rode it for a few weeks and went back up but before that sat since 91. Starts first kick but I am worried because it feels as if it has very very little compression and it's got a two ring piston instead of one. I've not removed the cylinder yet.
@@EricStephens-w2j ask away. I had a 80B in one of my other videos. Top ends aren't that hard to do. That would be a good keeper. I love the old 2 strokes.
I remember trying to remove the rear shock absorber from one these ones. Really fun. Frames in good shape
@@andymuzzo8568 Did you get it out? Sometimes the bolts need to be cut. This frame is in good condition.
