    Thanks for posting your video, it resolved a few problems I was having the other day. I'm about to get Woody Hyezmar's Bible, the net is roaring with rave reviews, but who knows? googling it now!

    I'm also from South Alabama. My mother is a freak hoarder when it comes to nutcrackers so I figured I'd make her one for her birthday next month..... That being said I'm only 16 so any advice you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

      enjoy what you are doing, it makes for better projects. Always put safety first, you can't enjoy what you are doing if you are hurt and check out Mark Sillay's videos. he is a master at what he dose with a tool and I have worked with him. A lot to be learned there. Happy Turning!

    I wonder how long the new lathe will look like new, but a used lathe, is a happy lathe :)
    Those look like acrylic paint, is that what those are?? anyway you did a fantastic job on the painting, simply nice, I just might remember it and make one myself :) and you even gave it your own beard.... :)

    • @Tommyakridgedesigns
      @Tommyakridgedesigns  9 лет назад

      +Yuval Lahav I did give it my own beard. that was acrylic water base paint. I used a pencil dipped in the paint to do the small detail. A little on the end and it is just like writing.
