Rey is not hot. Padmé is better looking than Rey, and Padmé is mid at best.

See, this is kinda the problem with current Star Wars fandom, Ninja. You have already made up the story in your mind. Mando needs to die, Ahsoka needs to die, Grogu needs to become the main character etc., otherwise it’s bad writing. When inevitably that story doesn’t play out the way you envisaged it, you get frustrated. I don’t think Mando is going to die anytime soon. I doubt Filoni will ever kill Ahsoka for real. Rey is the main character, not Grogu. And none of these choices automatically mean bad writing. Let’s see what they do with it.
Btw, regarding Luke, I have to disagree with you on that, specifically his death. It was thematically fitting. Jedi are not meant to be warriors. Seeing Luke go down as a warrior would be COOL, yeah, but that’s not the Star Wars message. War does not make one great. Luke managed to save the Resistance from certain doom relying only on his legend and his Force powers, without a single drop of blood. That’s a Jedi thing to do. That’s what a peacekeeper does. And then he willingly embraces the Force and “lets go”, on Obi Wan’s instruction (see the novelization - should have made it into the movie too), and also because Luke kinda needed to die to move the story forward.
