In a virtual news conference, Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly comments on her visit to Washington, D.C., where she met with Republican leaders to discuss the impacts the U.S. tariffs would have on the economies on both sides of the border.
Minister Joly states that Canada is prepared to retaliate with a first round of counter-measures should the incoming Trump administration move forward with the 25 per cent import tariffs.
