Cracking vid mate! They don't half go those wee wild Broonies eh? Give me a shout next time you make the long trek north and I can steer you onto some more cracking water! ;-) Will link to this when I get my 'Wee Burn Rod Review' finally done!
Do you have any help or adviswildtrout waters e fishing your region in July please . Looking for wild trout fly fishing waters and who to contact for permits please . Thank you . Brian
Some fine lochs and scenery..A zulu or black Pennel always worked..and if the weather can be a bit brutal at least it keeps the midges away...a place for a decent walk and some of the small lochans can surprise...or they did 10 years ago.Schionascaig is a good one.
Great video. Nice music !I said 20 years ago one day I would love to fly fish the Scottish rivers. I’ve been to busy trying to make money. I’ve realised I could have all the money in the world but it wouldn’t buy me time I’ve lost fishing
Never to late I’ve only just got into fishing 32 years of age kicking myself I never started earlier in life but like yourself work commitments and family life came first, slowly getting better at fishing and squeezing in as much as I can any minute of the week/weekend as I can to get experience looking forward to this trout season as I’ve spent a fortune on new equipment and many lochs and rivers plans this year it’s never to late!!!
@@samdunn2077 I’m 34 now been fly fishing since 14 , I live in Northern Ireland I just meant I’ve always wanted to fish in Scottish river. I’ve only been on the river 3/4 times a year probably the last 10 years. But like yourself I bought a lot of new equipment to for this year. Been out twice already, I’ve got the buzz back , tight lines for 2021 buddy 👍
Great vid mate I’m new to the nymphing scene I’ve been trying to find a good supplier of the tungsten bead nymphs I’ve found myself having to use a little shot to get my nymphs down. Know where I can get a good box of tungsten?
Thanks for watching! We use Funky Fly Tying for nearly all of our fly tying materials. They’ve got a great selection of beads. Lots of colours (we rarely use more than gold, silver and copper)

Fantastic video and a great days fishing. Thanks for sharing. Well worth the 11 hour drive👍👍
Enjoyed the vid pal, we fish up there regularly, Cam, Veyatie, Urigill and Borrolan. We always catch bucketloads. Cracking scenery too.
Great video. I'm a big fan of small Scottish brown trout on light gear. Real trout.
Nice one. I think I prefer these small streams to the big rivers. Love those dark spots on the browns 🐯
You’ve got to try the fishing up there mate, mind blowing!
Great video beautifully shot in a stunning location, every trout a jewel. Subscribed
