I've always wanted to try silk ribbon embroidery. Your technique for using white ribbon and painting it afterwards is just simply genius! I have copic markers, which I guess is the same thing. Thanks for sharing your talents!
Hi there - yes copic are the same thing - it is just getting the nice delicate colours that can sometimes be a problem. The promarkers (now from Windsor and Newton) - have such beautiful natural shades, this is the only reason I favour them over others, nothing to do with the colour fastness or performance. :) - have fun.
I love your work. What do I need to do to make the ink machine washable secure? I would like to fix a hole in my granddaughters denim skirt, which gets washed often.
