I'm 3 minutes into the video and the editing is superb! I really love what you did there with you finishing your sentences in between the narrating and the onsite footage.
@@CurrentlyHannah Absolutely second this sentiment - I have been saying for a while that you are constantly stepping up your game and it is extremely evident here. Well done.
Wow what a wonderful sounding experience! I love seeing the behind the scenes of these cool moments in your life. I’ll be sure to watch this new episode! 💜
Thanks for being able to share some of the behind the scenes production. When talking about this project, it was almost like seeing another side of you where you seem to reveal a little of your vulnerability , humbleness , charm , and even awkwardness . The sponsor of the project definitely picked the right ambassador to showcase some of Japan's culture , history , and people.
Hannah I love your editing style. From your shots to your music selections. It is truly a joy to watch your travels and adventures in Japan. You freaking rock! Keep it up.
Glad you got to shoot another episode! I love how your sentences get completed using a different clip! It's a very nice transition and I don't see it often done! Shots and music still amazing btw, I personally loved the clips at the waterfalls and the temple in the mountains! I definitely need to put Kyushu in my list next time I visit! 💖
I really enjoyed this video footage Hannah, and flipped straight over to 7Plus after finishing this which just exponentially increased my enjoyment and delight in watching you. You do a GREAT job of hosting Solo in Japan. I l o v e it! Hope they ask you to do more. Good job!
Rushing over to 7plus now to watch your 3rd episode !!! I'm sure as usual you've done us here in Australia proud 😀 Japan are lucky to have you promote their beautiful country !!! Still can't wait to visit some of these amazing places you share so well on UTube.. Thank you 😀
Your editing transitions between present and past was super cool! What another awesome experience, I'm sure they'll bring you back for another episode next year!
Hannah, I’m always so amazed by your videos! I was in the contract right before yours at TDL but never knew about your channel until recently. I had just gotten into vlogging a little at the end of my contract and the videos were trash 😂 so inspired by the quality of content you put out 🤌
Oh hey Alley! Yeah I remember you from photos 😅 Thank you! And yeah RUclips and editing is a constant learning lesson. My first vlogs needed a lot of improvement too haha
Thanks so much for the post. My wife and I used to live in Japan and really, really miss travelling to the countryside. We get back to it as soon as we can!
おめでとうハナちゃん! Congratulations Hanah chan!! I've been watching your RUclips channel for a while now (being a fan of your Awesome experiences in Japan) and so happy that your blessed with the opportunity to be able to host your own tv show (going solo in Japan with channel 7), all the HARD WORK you've done is all worth it! CHEHOOOO!!
Congratulations on the 7 gig. To do it once was amazing but to be asked back again says something. Great work with edit of this video too. The music (as always) and the seamless voiceover to live cuts *chef's kiss*. I know what you mean by not shooting in log. Every time I do it I think, damn what a waste, I've really fluffed it now. Of course it usually isn't, but log is so... *chef's kiss*. And Kyushu! Freakin' heck it is lovely. We went for the first time a couple of years ago (just before covid) and it was awesome. Until we had the earthquake here in Melbourne last year Kyushu was the only place we've felt an earthquake. We were staying at Kurosawa Onsen while Mt Aso was erupting a little. One night our cabin rattled a bit. On the scale of Japanese earthquakes it was a "was that an earthquake?" but it was our first quake ever. Weirdly in half a dozen trips to Japan it was the first time we'd felt one. Anyway, congrats again. Now I have to wander over to 7plus. I believe there is something I need to watch there...
I am so so glad that you got these kind of opportunities as you totally deserve it! You're a wonderful story teller and videographer, with a beautiful presence. Super glad to see that genuine people can also be rewarded in a world where we mostly see injustice when it comes to success. You're an inspiration! 🥰🥰❤️
Congratulations! So awesome that you had the opportunity again to film with Channel 7. You seem like you would be an absolute natural in front of the camera. Will have to watch this one too!
first of all, congrats, that's such an accomplishment, and secondly, i love the editing in this-- very clever! also, since i had no fear of earthquake attached to it, that alarm was kind of a bop hahaha
What a cool experience! Especially the veggie lunch place and the hilltop temple seem amazing. It makes so much sense that hosting would be tiring - you have to be 'on' all day! But it's nice to have a friendly team who call you Hannah-chan ☺️.
Hearing Channel 7 and you Currently Hannah makes me homesick for Melbourne .... I always love your journeys 🙏 Best wishes and thank you from cold Niigata 🥰
Excellent Nihongo skills Hannah. Congratulations on all that study you must have done and continue to do. Your presenting manner is very sweet and your enthusiasm is infectious too! And send that Veg Bento over will you, I'm envious to the max!
Loving the audio switching from voice over to camera! I've never seen anyone do that and it add another really cool layer to your already great style! Wish my job would allow me to jump in on your group travel event!
Oita is just gorgeous. Next time you're in Kyushu you should hit up the mountain shugendo site Hikosan. It's particularly gorgeous in Autumn. I think you'd love it.
lol that was pretty funny! XD interestingly my japanese teacher told me the way to politely decline an invitation somewhere is the same way basically apologise and say chotto and trail off lol
That is a fantastic accomplishment to make your dream come true, Miss Hannah, showing the entire Japan to Australia, allowing viewers to learn about the country.
It would be really interesting to see how a TV production differs from a RUclipsr style production, two different methods of creating a similar end result.
It did make me think about Catriona Roundtree in Australia and the Getaway travel shows when I was younger! She must have been exhausted! (that reference makes me feel old!)
Grats Hannah! It was an nice and interesting episode. The only downside is its only 1 episode. They definitely should make this a full season! After all the work you did, do you think its worth it for only 1 episode?
@@CurrentlyHannah im curious, did you think of this while filming for the show, or was it something that you thought of after and THEN found a good way to put it all together?
22:52 "Big big thicc boi... thicc boi camera" 23:20 "Big big white boi... white boi drone... I don't know wha' white boi...That's not what I meant! Big thicc boi white drone". Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha my partner (who happens to be Aussie white boi) looked up from his dinner plate and actually laughed. Thanks Hannah!! 😂🤣
I've worked many jobs in my life and I can say unequivocally that the jobs where I had to be 'on' and entertain were by FAR the more exhausting than the physically demanding ones!
Why do Channel 7 looking at sending a host to Japan for this series ? They have already found the best person for the job. Can't wait for episode 4. Great to watch this program in the midst of the Brisbane flood. 👍👍👍
I'm 3 minutes into the video and the editing is superb! I really love what you did there with you finishing your sentences in between the narrating and the onsite footage.
Thank you! It takes a lot of extra time to script it and what not but the pay off is nice ☺️

Congratulations Hannah!!!! What an achievement and fantastic opportunity to film in Kyushu for Channel 7 :D おめでとう〜!
Thank you! Very happy to be back :)
Voice over into on location! LOVE IT!
Seeing those snow flowers is now added to my bucket list! Amazing!
I'm always blown away by the quality of your videos. The entire production is just *chefs kiss*
It’s nice. Thank you for creating an opportunity for Australians to know about Japan.

Loved the video. Really like the editing with the conversation linking with the commentary and the talking at the time

I love the fluidity of speaking from scene to scene. Next level editing and writing Hannah. Respect.
I love the editing of this video, the scene transition utilizing the same audio / word is really cool!

Congrats on your documentary! I enjoyed it, you have a great presence.
And I finally saw the show last weekend Hanna and LOVED IT! Your'e a deadset natural girl!
Congratulations! So awesome that you had the opportunity again to film with Channel 7. You seem like you would be an absolute natural in front of the camera. Will have to watch this one too!
Thank you! It definitely didn’t come naturally but I’m so glad I had a lot of speech and drama lessons growing up to help 😅
Rally love your cinematic video. very mesmerizing, which i can go there too.
congratulation Hannah for your new achievement!!
Congratulations Hannah!!! 🎉 Great vlog and insight into the shoot!!!
Congrats Hannah! You deserve it. Your content is always very good!
OMG Hannah this video is a masterpiece!
Wow! Kyushu Oita .My home town!
Awesome job filming. Sounds like so much fun.
I really like how you transition your voiceover to the clips. That was really cool!
Wishing you all the success 💓 you deserve. Glad you like Japan 🗾. Amazing country, I love it.

Hahah it’s kinda cool sounding if you remove the trauma attached to it!
Wow I really love the seemless transitions from the voiceover to your audio in the video. Never seen that like that before.
Season 2 (or would it be Series 2) is in the books, here’s to the next 100 seasons/series
Even though we are Japanese, the alarm sound is always terrifying and we are confused. I’m relieved to hear you’re okay😌

Omg yes❤️
Wonderful footage and great video❣️
Hey thanks for sharing! I always enjoy and these provide a different spin. Really liked the Japanese speaking cat (giggle)
Excellent Nihongo skills Hannah. Congratulations on all that study you must have done and continue to do.

the "may" transition was my favorite part
That was a hard one haha
Loving the audio switching from voice over to camera! I've never seen anyone do that and it add another really cool layer to your already great style! Wish my job would allow me to jump in on your group travel event!
Wow. That's a wonderful. 👏 Congratulations. We do not have that channel in our country thought, but I will continue to watch your RUclips 😊
Watched it today in Oz on one of the 7 channels. Very good 👍. Really want to get back to Japan.
So sick, so sick. I really like all your vids, the atmosphere you bring and ofc the exploration of Japan make for such a great experience of venture.
the programme is up here now (I filmed one of the other ones on that channel so come across Hannah's one)

Far out. Keep growing, Hannah.
BGM is wicked also, suits the scene.
Thanks! Musicbed is quickly becoming my favourite music provider by far!
lol that was pretty funny! XD
interestingly my japanese teacher told me the way to politely decline an invitation somewhere is the same way basically apologise and say chotto and trail off lol
Whelp. Time to download the 7plus app again 😆
That is a fantastic accomplishment to make your dream come true, Miss Hannah, showing the entire Japan to Australia, allowing viewers to learn about the country.

Say "big thick boy white drone" three times very quickly without failing. 😄 Congrats Hannah! 🎉🎉
Hi Hannah. I'm currently in Melbourne so I would love to see your program now that Im Australia
Amazing Hannah! Congrats on the second show. I love the way you edited this video too... Sweeeeet! Chris IS very handy... Hope you paid him 😂 👍❤️👍
Haha always 😊
It’s okay but it’s sweet of you caring about the コンビニの店員さん♫
Beautiful scenery and the bento!!
Hahaha I felt really bad! Poor guy must’ve hated me 😭
@@CurrentlyHannah no worries, he won’t hate you 🤗
Fantastic! As usual, just want to go to bloody Japan right now!
Hopefully soon!
Incredibly beautiful and amazing 🥰😍
Woo Hoo! Let's go Hannah
Oita is my hometown❤️
Grats Hannah! It was an nice and interesting episode. The only downside is its only 1 episode. They definitely should make this a full season!
After all the work you did, do you think its worth it for only 1 episode?
Time to come out with 'where's my bag?' and 'Thic white boi' on your merch!
Hahahaha “where’s my bag” is actually so good
the script syncing (?) between takes took me so off guard (in a good way) i was so impressed with how well it was done wow
Oh thank you! It takes a lot longer to make since I’ve gotta script it but it pays off nicely :)
@@CurrentlyHannah im curious, did you think of this while filming for the show, or was it something that you thought of after and THEN found a good way to put it all together?
11:19 suggestion : go back there please for an interview video of the chef and his vegetables menus. 😉
Where in the US can I watch it? Is it on Amazon, Netflix… etc?
22:52 "Big big thicc boi... thicc boi camera"
23:20 "Big big white boi... white boi drone... I don't know wha' white boi...That's not what I meant! Big thicc boi white drone".
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha my partner (who happens to be Aussie white boi) looked up from his dinner plate and actually laughed. Thanks Hannah!! 😂🤣
At the end, saw your getting alllllll of that curry sauce. The way it should be done!
When does this come out on Netflix so I can watch it in the US?😉
Haha a girl can dream!
Great 👍 👌 ❤ ❤
What’s the restaurant with lots of vegetables ? Can’t seem to find it anywhere :p
The Logies are back this year. Look out BHG, she coming for ya. 🤞
Haha! What a dream! 😄
I was wondering what type of Camara you use for photography.
It's a little weird but I guess there's no other way to put it: proud of you... 🥇
I've worked many jobs in my life and I can say unequivocally that the jobs where I had to be 'on' and entertain were by FAR the more exhausting than the physically demanding ones!
It’s a whole other level right! No time to mentally relax or check out haha
8:00 These are really nice drone shots. Were these taken with your new drone or your older one?
My old one. I haven’t had her chance to use my new drone yet!
Congrats! Did you have to do any ADR work in post-production?
Yes I did! I recorded them in my bedroom, half in my closest haha. I’ll put it in a future Vlog ☺️
