Haha this is literally EXACTLY my routine. I am a person who takes my time so I always get up like two hours before we need to leave. I take like 30 minutes to warm up my horse. Sometimes I wonder if I wouldn't be so nervous if i didn't take so much time to do this since this gives me more time to think about everything that could go wrong but the fear of forgetting something or not warming up enough is just as bad so I allow myself plenty of time lol
Abbie Tonkin don’t be scared! Go out there like a champ and show everyone what you can do. If you’re confident, your horse will know and feel confident too. I recently took my 3 year old to his first hacking show and he was a little nervous, but we won champion and placed top two in everything which was a a great side note! Ride him/her just like you would at home, and don’t treat it any differently. Good luck with your horse!!!!
