    Your cpu is broken or smth. I have the same gpu and i7 7700k, playing 1440p all max settings 90fps average..

      There is no way in hell an Intel Core i7-7700K is pulling stable 90 FPS on average in this one. An Intel Core i7-9700K barely hits 60 FPS constantly without drops and it has 8 true cores. Something is up with the game, and it shows from all the comments everyone is leaving under my videos for this game.

      i have a 3080 and 9700k and i am dropping to 20~30 fps in some of the sandy areas. i have no idea what is going on with this game lmao.

      @@GnimeBouncingForksNothing is happening with the game, it's that your CPU is very outdated. It was outdated once it launched and is practically useless for modern AAA games nowadays. I have a system with it currently for resale and I wouldn't put even an RTX 2060 alongside it, let alone an RTX 3080. No hyperthreading killed it right away. i9-9900K still holds okay.

    Ono sto mi je nejasno malo u igri je to sto su razlike izmedju grafickih preseta jako male promene u performansu.
    Imam 3080ti i na very high sa dlss balanced na 4k imam 55-60fps a na medium 55-60 sto mi je jako cudno

    • @calypsobenchmarks
      @calypsobenchmarks  6 месяцев назад

      Nisam siguran šta da ti kažem. Upravo sam pokrenuo igru tri puta i sva tri puta sam imao različite performanse: 60, 70 i 85 FPS. Koliko god da je port solidan, mislim da postoje dodatni problemi koji uzrokuju dodatne nestabilnosti. Ne razumijem da na jedno te istoj konfiguraciji sa istim postavkama dobijem tri puta različite performanse unutar 5 minuta.

    Strange Test. With my i7 12700, RTX 3080 10GB and 32GB DDR4 with same settings I have 110/120 FPS at 2560x1440. You have a serious problem with your hardware.

    weird ur 3080ti is only pulling less than 350 watts, mine does like 450 watts and gets 20-30 more fps than this on same exact settings and everything... Weird... Also 78C degrees is very hot for a GPU lmfao be careful dude, mine chills at like 50 at 450 watts lol urs is cookin at almost 80C not even using all the PDW the card should be using... Also with that CPU u don't need nvidia reflex low latency, your CPU is fast enough to send frames to your GPU without using that, it will probably lower your fps leaving it on...

      The notion of attaining 50 degrees Celsius when your GPU is operating at full capacity seems implausible, perhaps conceivable only if one resides in Antarctica.

    • @calypsobenchmarks
      @calypsobenchmarks  6 месяцев назад

      @ThatTempesTGuy I run all my graphics cards with stock and out of the box settings. Assuming yours pulls 150W more, one would hope the FPS would be higher at that TDP. It's hard to believe that your GPU is running at 50C during full load unless you're looking at the temperatures right away as soon as you start your game or unless your ambient temperature is under zero. Cooling 450W isn't a joke, that seems impossible no matter what kind of cooler or heatsink it's using. Temperature of around 80C is quite normal unless you want your GPU fans to sound like a jet engine taking off at a higher ambient temperature. No thermal throttling happens at any point and 350W is the default TDP of the card.

      Nah it's just because he's using DLAA instead of DLSS at 4K. DLAA is even more demanding than Native TAA but with DLSS quality it would look the same and get like 65-70 fps and up

    • @calypsobenchmarks
      @calypsobenchmarks  6 месяцев назад +6

      Performance difference between TAA and DLAA is virtually indistinguishable (it costs .5 ms more of the GPU render budget compared to TAA) in this game and DLAA just looks cleaner and a lot better in every way possible and it does a much better job than TAA if you prefer picture clarity. Native + TAA is the next best thing but it doesn’t come close to DLAA, obviously. Any form of DLSS upscaling from a lower internal resolution, on the other hand, looks horrible compared to both DLAA and TAA as there are so many tiny details it breaks up.
      I wouldn’t recommend DLSS in this game even at 4K resolution even at its quality preset unless you’re far away from the screen to notice or aren’t sensitive to what the AI does to the image. It constantly gives the game unnatural look that I can’t stand. DLSS’ quality preset and its 67% scale is way too low in my opinion. If there was an ultra quality preset with let’s say 85% scaling reconstructed - maybe I’d consider it. FSR is out of the question as it’s constantly the inferior implementation in every single game where both DLSS and FSR are available.
      If you _MUST_ use upscaling and _CAN_ tolerate its drawbacks, go ahead and be my guest. I’d rather choose to play the game at 40 FPS at native resolution even with TAA over DLSS upscaled and reconstructed with quality mode and 15 FPS it adds. But it might just be me who can’t tolerate the drawbacks of AI upscaling. We’re starting to rely too much on all these technologies. I don’t like the direction gaming is going. All this upscaling and frame generation features are “nice to have” but I’m afraid that’s all we’ll have in five or so years.
      TAA messed things up on its own when it started being the only option in games and now image reconstruction is here to make things even worse. I might be the minority but upscaling just isn’t _IT_ for me. While my eyesight remains this good, I’ll prefer image clarity over whatever performance gain upscaling provides no matter how *“good”* it becomes. The same reason some people don’t like TAA with a passion (and for a valid reason) due to how blurry it is, I don’t like how any way of image reconstruction makes games look and it won’t change.
      So, no, DLSS in its quality mode even at 4K isn’t remotely close to DLAA. 4K DLSS quality versus 4K TAA is worth discussing and it might even come on top compared to the native TAA presentation, but any comparison between DLAA and DLSS is out of the question and it _WILL NOT_ look the same unless you’re far away from the screen to make it less noticeable.

      @dagamerturtle 6 месяцев назад +3

      @calypsobenchmarks I hear you, it's all down to personal preference really. I also have a 28" 4K monitor as my main and I sit about an arms length away from it and for my eyes (yes I wear glasses) DLSS quality is practically indistinguishable from native. I do admit that anything under quality is too aggressive for my liking and that DLAA does look sharper than DLSS, but I personally like to vsync my monitor to the 60fps cap on all the games I play and if I have to use DLSS quality I personally don't mind as much since I would have to pixel peep and get really close to my monitor before noticing imperfections. At the end of the day it's down on the player and what they feel satisfied with to play a game.

    • @dagamerturtle
      @dagamerturtle 6 месяцев назад

      @calypsobenchmarks also I'd like to clarify when I said "they would look the same" with DLSS quality in my original comment, I meant to say that it would look very very similar to native res unless you pixel peeped. But it of course wouldn't look as good as DLAA.
