His ex wife has a drug problem, and has turned to prostitution to pay for her drugs. He has tried for several years to get her help, but she refuses. He finally had to let her go.

I'm busy growing again now that he's passed away.
I've had to go before the Lord and repent and ask the Lord for forgiveness and I've had a lot of deliverance on my own in my bedroom.
My husband turned his back on the Lord and turned to pornography.

This is very important. Take a couple minutes to read it.
Please, listen to God when He tries to tell you to turn away from something. Listen to Him when He tugs on your heart even if you don't know quite what it is at the moment. Pray and ask Him what you need to do and to help you. He will help you know what's right and help you live in His way. Listen to Him when you KNOW what is right and don't turn back to the things that are hindering you from that. Please never take the ability to pray for granted!!! It is the most precious gift besides salvation because no matter what is going on in your life or what you are afraid of, He knows and cares about all of it and knows how to work things out for the best. His way will always be better than our way. And especially never take salvation for granted!!!!! Please hear me, if you are going a direction that's not good and you know it, God has shown it to you, STOP! You don't want to mess up your life or lose yourself or especially your soul. Just turn to God and ask Him to forgive you even if you have messed up, and ask Him to change your heart to love what is good and break your heart for what breaks His heart. And if you don't know what to do about ANY situation, give it to God. Let go of your holds if needed, ask Him to help you know what to do. He cares about you. Pray for Him to guide you through it, and for wisdom! You can lay everything out before God. He already knows. He cares about you and His way is always the best way. If you have God, you will be ok. Without Him, you have nothing, so make sure to stay close and LISTEN to Him. If God is leading you to take action, then take action! Talk to someone if you need help talking to God or if there are things you need to confess. Confessing things or talking about things going on to other people who love God is important. You NEED to take care of your soul. Turn away from the things that aren't good, do what you need to do, and ask God to heal and soften your heart and to help you love people and love Him. You will be MUCH better off that way than doing things your way. Following God is the safe way. If you have God, you have EVERYTHING. Don't forget that!

When people fail to progress in their faith or become "stagnant" as you put it, first question we must ask is: Did they truly receive Christ Jesus? Jesus described this very situation in the sower/seed parable. 1. People that heard the Word of God from the "side of the road" HEARD the Word but the devil took the word away from their hearts and they were unable to believe and be saved. 2. Others heard the Word of God and received it with joy but because they had no firm root (they were not established) they believe for awhile, and in time of temptation fall way. 3. Some have heard the word and as they go about their lives (among the thorns) they are consumed with worries, riches, pleasures of worldly things and bare no fruit OR growth to maturity. 4. Then there is those that HEARD the word in an honest and good heart, they HOLD IT FAST, and bare fruit with perseverance. A lot of this deals with how they came to hear of the gospel and whether not they had a community of fellow brothers and sisters in Christ strengthening and encouraging them as to their faith. We are told to encourage the fainthearted, build up one another, help the weak, admonish the unruly. In conclusion, if you're trying to do it on your own, you can't. If you are apart of a community of fellow Christians that don't encourage one another, build each other up, cares about the wellbeing of your walk with Christ, then people are bound to grow weary and fall away. If you're not growing in your faith and you feel like your "stagnant" then I would look more closely at the leadership of your church or community. They after all are suppose to be there to guide you and encourage you In your walk getting to know Jesus more intimately.

wow! the Lord spoke to me. I clicked on this video not even knowing what the word stagnant was lol i had to look up the definition. i hear the hard truth but refuse to listen and then keep going in a cycle wondering why nothing is changing. And i even tell God im sorry, and even before clicking on this he told me i need to truly surrender. and follow Him. God has spoken to me and ive refused and has caused me to become confused. If the Lord has already told me what to do i cant keep praying for God to help me when he already has given me a word and is waiting for me to move.
