@@killorkubed it's about the same as putting a 165 on a 146 tunnel(or 154 expert). I ran my 154 under it for a little bit and it definitely looked like it was all track.
@@mazdarxseven93 yeah... we've had problems in hero snow (we live like 1000 miles from the nearest mountain riding, we go when we can and take what we can get) having our stock length 146's and 154's get hot... have any cooling problems being that short? any visibility problems with the track throwing snow right back ahead of you?
@@killorkubed we have pretty short trail rides for the most part and I have a snow flap I can put on it if needed though. I run 2.25" paddle tracks so not to much snow throw ahead of me unless there's 4 or 5 inches on the trail.
@@mazdarxseven93 what made you switch to a 146 2.25? We have a sled with that on it exactly and are selling it because we don't like it as much as the 154s, are we missing something? they are really good, but there are some things that they could do to make them better. cut and tapered tunnel is one of them, titanium bolts, clutching,....it can always be better.
That’s kinda stupid thing to do. Why not just get the shorter track? Or is it just to make money for making a kit to sell and to fk up a snowmobile! A lot of bs just to make it shorter 😅😅

I love watching this stuff, even though I'm stuck in Ontario and have absolutely no need for it where I ride. :)
This has to be the most informative video I’ve ever watched on you tube! Great job … I’d love to do that to mine but out of my talent skills
This looks like a nice kit 2 years ago I removed my cooler and cut 7” out of the middle of it then reinstalled. This would be much easier than that.
I cut 14 inches off of my 2018 154 of the same color, and put a 146 under it. Cool to see you guys are making a kit to do it easier 👍
what? if you took 14 inches off that would make it like trail sled length and a 146 would stick like 3 miles out the back?

Sick.. Any vids coming for the axys to matryx
It`s coming soon!
So that was a lie
what bumper?
what is the real price of this sled with taxes and all.
Pardon my ignorance, but why would you want to do this job to begin with, isn't today factory sled over engineer, what is the benefit to do this ?
More agile with a shorter tunnel, easier to turnover while sidehilling;)

I wonder if this is doable to shorten a '19 175 to a 165 length tunnel?
What’s the name on the bumper, only need the bumper

@@fnatomagan does the bumper work on a snowmobile that is 129/3300 long, i have a Lynx rave 850 2018?
What a stupid mod. Just buy a short tunnel sled from factory. Mountain snowmobiling is not for the poor.
