As a gen z(16 year old) kid who lives and is still growing up in a pretty conservative country, with traditions, religion and political views being taken seriously, the western and woke ideology that are seen in my generation(due to access to the internet) goes largely ignored by our older folks purely for the fact they couldnt care less. I have classmates who are gay, bi and have met trans individuals and to be perfectly honest, no one gives a crap. Our elders have their concerns on whether or not our president will turn on us, our parents work to keep things afloat and tend to do well.
I have never encountered ANYONE being against these new western leftist culture that made its way here, nor has my generation taken it as far as the west with shit like screeching about pronouns or just not being able to pick a gender. Now ofcourse there will always be hate and negativity against such individuals and my country is technically classified as a 3rd world country. But to my knowledge people just tend to move on with their day and never really gossip shit like "oh we have a trans customer, better ignore them for as long as possible" and so-on that we saw earlier in the video. This is all probably due to the fact that things like such are the hilariously named "1st-world problems" which is fair I guess.
I think I made this comment as a sort of in defense of my generation, as we arent all like -that-. We're just kids who I believe are growing up in a time where we have to pick sides in almost everything, forced to create opinions on shit we dont understand because we were too young. I have nothing against anyone of any ethnicity, colour, background gender and all the other stuff, but it really is sad how so much progress comes crashing down as all this infighting goes on and things start to de-evolve. And we cant go and call our elders bigots for not understanding or not fully agreeing to our new politically correct terms as not everyone is like that and it is really sad that they are lumped into the same corner.
