Well since anything to do with hay is well over a month away we can reasonably rule that out. The duels spacing didn't appear to be compatible with a 30 inch planter spacing. Kind of makes using it on a planter as a possibility; over kill on a 6 row planter. Do we see a newer planter in the future?
here in The Netherlands they only put one dual wheel on when they cleaning the ditches so they have more stand surface. Ps you are going to use it to plant with it
Well it seems that everyone is set on you planting with her, but I believe you used the 7800 for that. Cultivating is out since the corn ain't up yet and you used the 4020 for that before, plus those are probably 20.8-42 tires so it would be a tight squeeze. Spraying would probably be out, unless your putting down pre-emerge and this tractor would be overkill. Too early to start hay and that means I'm running out of guesses. I'm stumped.
Planting/seeding or spraying. If it was any ground work like chiseling, you would use the duals. Since you are taking them of, you need the tractor to make as small footprint as possible.
I would say now your done chiselling the land you will be taking the duals off so you can plant with it as you would not want to plant corn with duals, only thing that got me is that you can use it to plant beans or oats then on the seed drill as you would need the Duals due to the weight of the drill. So really I'm not sure Ryan, over here in Scotland we are finished planting our spring barley and oats and we are now planting potatoes
+Cameron Gallant we usually get a month or so in the winter of snow but we spend most of the winter moldboard ploughing for the coming years crop as over hear everything is ploughed and cultivated before planting
Yes the weight increases but it increases in the furrow and not in the row. They could also be setting it up for cultivating but that seems a little early yet.
Only makes sense to me that you guys are planting with that tractor, it will look sick pulling that planter for sure!
that skidsteer is one valuable piece of equipment!
nice video and I wanna be a farmer when I grow up.I'm almost 12 now
I know it will be planting, because you posted a picture of the 4640 on the planter a few months ago.
Use the tires to put triples on the back of the 8235R!
That would be awesome
djonesy597 that is more than likely a different size

You could do with a big lightbar on the bobcat too by the looks of it!

I have seen farmers using tractors with one dual while bottom plowing with the single wheel in the furrow.
Or chopping corn in low ground
They'll take one dual off for moldboard plowing usually for more traction and getting in the furrow while plowing with a 2 wheel drive tractor

Can u guys farm all year round or do u get snow over there
+Cameron Gallant we usually get a month or so in the winter of snow but we spend most of the winter moldboard ploughing for the coming years crop as over hear everything is ploughed and cultivated before planting
Haven't seen any plowing done yet, but maybe to get in the forrow.
Are you using it for the harrow
Is it going on the planter?
People sometimes only put one dual on for when they are mold board plowing, so the tractor stays balanced.
Spraying, spreading fertilizer, or maybe running a mower. Not many other reasons to take the duals off.
Planting or cultivating
I'm gonna say getting ready for a new baler
May the 4force be with u
Do you have any liquid in your tires?
Spraying or cultivating.
we have one dual on one of our tractors. only reason is for the rock picker at this moment
Planting or spraying
I think you are going to cut hay or round baling if your baler is a 1000 rpm .
How many tractors do you have?
Spraying would be my guess
Yeah I had to use duals on one side because someone hit our stock chopper then it hit our dual tire
you put them water to tires ?? I am from Chile and do not work with large tractors so my question !!! (Google translation ) haha
I reckon a seed drill or a planter
do you use ballast in any of your wheels??
+Kevin Willis We typically use calcium chloride.
+How Farms Work
we use beet juice. my guess is pulling a drill or planter
+How Farms Work are. U guys using the 4640 for hauling seed to the seeder when it's empty.
de rest ook
Kralen & Hangers
Sprayer or fertilizer spreader
We run our 4840 with one dual on for when we pull our 5 bottom molboard plow
Some people run only one when they plow if the tire has to run in the furrow an also if its buddy an their chopping corn
Good video!
we used to moldboard plow with one dual
You're gonna plant corn with it. I saw it on facebook
It used to be you would take one dual to ride that side of the tractor in the furrow when plowing shows how old I am.
Planting or Calitaving
Are there any wild hogs on your farm?
Are u gana plant with it

I'm going with pulling a sprayer.
Planting
Pull a sprayer post plant
When farmers go out to plough they usually use only one duel for more traction on one side. Well at least that's what we do.
planting corn and beans.
One dual is when you are plowing so you can have one in the furrow and not run over turned dirt
Putting it on the planter
sprayer possibly??
12 row planter.
Your going to mow hay or bale with it
The kids got a toy tractor with one dual
We do it by hand
Using the harrow
he was going to use the tractor pull that hair with maybe it needs to be a little bit bigger tractor
Catching up
nice vid
Probably new corn Planter
Your gunna plow with it
I mean furrow! LOL!
I think tractors with 1 dual look goofy too.
put spacings in and use for a sprayer ????????
Picking rocks
hay work
A surprise
i thinking like few of other people with spraying
Spread something like fertilizer or manure
You're going to use it to pull the planter. Less compaction.
+dimduk Wouldn't it be more compaction since there is now a higher psi where the tires meet the ground?
+dimduk Duals decrease compaction, that's the point.
Yes the weight increases but it increases in the furrow and not in the row. They could also be setting it up for cultivating but that seems a little early yet.
Your going to plant with it
My guess is that you used it in the field.
He could be going to plant with that tractor
Trade it in on a 4wd model
The 4wd versions of the 4640 are harder to find and are expensive when you do find them.
For cutting alfalfa
Are you concerned about glyphosate?
I bet that your going to plant with it.
To pull a sprayer
