- We rented an Esch 5510 No-Till Drill this week to get our 2 new-seeding hay crops in the ground!
In the first field, I drilled a blend of Alfalfa and Orchard/Fescue Grass which will make beautiful high quality horse hay! And in the second field, I planted a straight grass mix that should produce a high quality, high tonnage horse hay! The 966 chugged along and the crop is in the ground! I

Great video! Curveballs happen, but looks like you made the most of it.
This kind of stuff happens I did the same thing planting my first drilling using a marliss grain drill on a deutz tractor and ran out of seed when I should not have but luckily I only went like 3 passes and realized it
At least you noticed it sooner than me😂
Seeding a alitte heavier is better with hay
