Truth
You have test anxiety. Seek help. It's possible to still do well on exams with test anxiety. Also, many schools will give you accommodations for this, for example more time, or breaks during exams, among other things. Usually you'll do this through your school's accessibility office, or a department that handles matters related to accessibility. You don't have to faceplant of exams. You actually know stuff, you deserve the opportunity to display that knowledge, which is what exams are meant to be.
I don't think I've seen Dave so unhappy and defeated. Fun series.
Indeed, he's usually Mr. Positivity, just check out the FIFA/PES/Rocket League streams when Rob goes in a huff! He was completely lost here though lol!

I think the best approach would be for Dave to actually consider the fact that it was Rob who chose the characters

My two favorite part of the intro are when ROb is hopping towards the challenge and when Nathan is knocking on the glass saying "I´m the elf." xD Always makes my day.
Them hopping to the door every day is a highlight for me. Cuz it's like five whole feet and then stop!

I think we can all feel Dave's pain. We've all had that moment where we stare at a question or problem for so long our brain just stops trying and thinks of everything but answers to the problem.
I guarantee at some point Dave was thinking about what he's having for dinner.
Dragon age is my favourite game series ever and I did not expect it to be one of the games in this. Was very happily giddy when I saw the title of this video.
The cut from Rob singing at the tree to Dave's dead pan expression is everything 😂
That was exponentially harder task then the first x3 honestly; was actually glad it only lasted 30 min as it was incredibily hard to watch (Elle can’t talk, Dave just looking perplexed, and even the team next door needed Rob’s clues to guess correctly).

@@tylerrichardson3034 Kratos and Coco I got really quick without help. Chloe I guessed after 2 guesses. The rest I would never have guessed because I never played those games. :P I do feel a challange like this should be tailored to one's gaming history. But I do not know if Dave did not play any of these games. It was kind of sad he couldn't even name random women for guessing though. I guess that just goes to show we need more female playable characters, or Dave needs to play more games with female protags.

Halfway through the game and still no Final Fantasy, I'm surprised at Rob's restraint on that.

Elle did great, it's lucky she knew the DAI character creator fairly well (by the looks of it) because when you're completely new to it, it isn't the easiest. I think this is my favourite Maze episode so far.
The series has been amazing so far and I can't wait to see what else you have in store for us!

Don't be sad, we all have our own strengths.
In Dave's defense...when the pressure is solely on you, it's real easy to mind blank.. Watch any quiz show for long enough and you'll see numerous people get the answer a second after the buzzer, when the pressure is off.
Also, #3 was tough.
The challenge room has never been this quiet lol. Every time the cam pans to Dave, I feel bad for him 🤣😅

This was by far the most brilliant challenge. I am loving this series.

This was my favorite challenge. Those character choices were diabolical, Rob. I love how evil he is. Sorry Dave, love you too, but this was too funny.

This series is missing one important element from the Crystal Maze - the lock in & buy people out with Crystal's.
Then it doesn't matter so much how many you win if you need to trade to get 1-2 people back.
I didn't envy Dave in this challenge. I guessed precisely zero of them.
I managed to get 4 out of 6. That was with no pressure on me. Dave had to deal with that pressure. Feel bad for the guy.
Most of these games I never even played so I couldn't fault him. With the rules of this game if he didn't know the name it wasn't happening unless he had a large list of names in his head and he just kept asking them until he got them right.
Dave has absolutely crumbled under the pressure here..

This was really clever. It probably would have been easier if you could customize clothing, too, as the colors and styles associated with characters are also major parts of their design.

I would have used Code Vein's character creator here, or maybe Saints Row 4, but Inquisition is also a good choice. And as someone who spends way too much time with character creators, I wholeheartedly approve of this challenge.
I dont think code veins can vary styles enough. I'm surprised he didnt use skyrim
As much as I love Dragon Age, I think The Sims 4 would have been perfect for this challenge. ^_^

I love this channel I have been subscribed for years. You guys really need to have the last episode on Christmas. Once Christmas is over I'm done with christmas things. The feeling ends once the 26th hits and I no longer can enjoy christmas stuff. Starting the christmas series a couple weeks before and finishing on christmas may yield a better result. Watching this I dont feel the same as I did watching it on Christmas or the days before.
Poor Dave, that looked absolute agony for him! Ach well they got lucky with Crash - amazing though it was - so they had to fail one of them! Good job Elle though, she did great with limited resources and a tight time limit.
Hint for Dave: From a game you haven't got a platinum trophy.

Jesus, that one was impossible. Daniel and Coco were insanely hard and I'd have never got Chloe or Elizabeth either.
Dave may have not been able to guess most characters, but he got Coco Bandicoot right. How the hell did he guess that right? What a damn hero.

I would also like to say. I love your setup for the room to capture video and play the games. Looks really good
really good challenge and major props to Elle, showing real skill and working knowledge of the topic and the materials she had to work with. Dave shouldn't feel bad, they just weren't on the same wavelength. I think if they had just suggested he named games with female characters in them it might have helped his perspective... You can't win them all tho.

Dave continuing to name white redheads when the character she made was a darker-skinned brunette just about had me smashing my head against a wall. Nothing against him personally, but it's like. My dude, come on. I'm not entirely judging because I'm bad at these sorts of things too tbh but it was like he'd get hyper focused on one specific detail (i.e. "woman" or "elf") and that does no one any favors.
